"A great place to stay"

We've stayed here before. It's always a good place to stay. The Wissota Chophouse attached is very good too. I wish the tv system had the local channels would be my only wish.

The hotel was right next to the convention center, which was convenient. The hotel in Oct 2025 was still pretty new so it was clean. Enjoyed it!

"Breakfast @ Cobblestone"

Oh Boy I'm really sorry to see all these bad reviews on Cobblestones Complimentary Breakfast. I guess that is what happens when the Manager MEGAN BORROWSKI wants to let her employees come to work and do absolutely nothing and is completely fine it. Maybe now all you can see who did the work and who clearly didn't.

"Nice hotel, would stay again!"

This was our 3rd hotel in as many days on a road trip. The hotel is quite nice. The woman working the front desk was very nice and welcoming. I appreciated that the price listed when I booked online included the tax. The one negative was the breakfast - average at best compared to other places we stayed.

"Excellent"

The hotel is really nice - great spaces. I think it was a less than ideal experience with my room and reservations but would not base my opinion on just that. I was able to secure a room on Expedia for half of what their reservations team could offer. The gentleman I spoke to said that my room would not be guaranteed at that price and that I should book with him. My room was nice but my lamps by the bed didn’t work and I couldn’t get the air temp to go up so I was cold all night and could not sleep. I would def give this hotel another try. Room was nice and clean, comfortable bed. Great shower.

"Ottumwa Symphony Orchestra"

Very pleasant staff, especially Erin. She is exceptionally helpful and makes every stay special. I stay in the Cobblestone for all of my Ottumwa Symphony Orchestra rehearsals and concerts. I do question room 216 being called a “Suite” and be charged accordingly. The little alcove is an odd space and unusable for any practical purpose.
