A great getaway for the family
The property is pretty impressive. You actually feel like you are entering an old Nordic village. It’s not cheesy, it’s very authentic. The cabin was really cozy and delightful. Loved the fireplace. The male owner was very kind and accommodating. My only complaint is that at 11:00 on the nose someone knocked on my door to check out. I was literally on my way out. The place wasn’t full and I drove in a snowstorm to get there, so I felt that was premature. I never experienced that before, so I was taken aback a little. But on the whole it was a great experience.

Excellent quiet winter retreat.
What a fantastic property! Great attention to detail, our little Viking cottage was adorable and cozy. Lovely bathroom, extremely comfortable beds, well appointed kitchenette. My only complaint is that the futon/loveseat in the sitting area was NOT comfortable to sit on. Absolutely the only thing that wasn’t great. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Went there for a Christmas away from home. It was amazing! Our little cottage was so nice, the village was very cool, it was just perfect. So much attention to detail!
Absolutely spectacular experience! We stayed here with a friend in early October. We couldn’t believe what a truly detailed and fun trip into the Viking past! The Viking cabin was luxurious and so well laid out. The showers and bathroom was extremely clean and high and finishes. The kitchen was a perfect size for the group. Our only complaint was the futon in the living room, it was inexpensive/uncomfortable to sit on (we understand it’s perfect for extra bed for children) Such a great time and we loved walking the grounds and the wildlife. We can’t wait to return next year!
