Vikings Villages Resort

We loved our Viking overnight. We visited nearby SoulFest in Greenfield, MA and took the 30 minute drive to this remote, quiet, unique, venue for its creative experience. My kids were blown away. Our cabin was beautifully decorated and fully stocked with a small fridge, stove, cups, dishes, etc. two twin beds and a king bed was good for our family. We explored the property, the sheep on site, and enjoyed our stay.

Very unique interior and cosy setting

This is such a unique place to stay at! From the time we arrived to when we left, we were in awe of the place. Christina helped check us in, and she was very friendly. We stayed for 2 nights. The attention to detail that went into this place, especially each cabin was amazing. Seriously, everything was thought of. Loved the sheep that they have on the property. The 2 night stay was very peaceful and realxing. I plan to be back again in the future!

This is not your typical roadside hotel of course, but great if you're looking for that extra special place that you'll actually remember. We got there quite late unfortunately as we had a long drive and it was a bit stressful with the check-in time as they asked when we would be there as they don't have a 24/7 reception. Our GPS also sent us on a wild ride through gravel roads in the Vermont forests, but once we got there we were blown away by the quality and craftmanship of the cabin. Every detail was thought through and everything was to the highest standard. The beds were great too.

A walk through history! The authenticity and attention to detail is impeccable! And yet, our cabin was luxurious and beautifully appointed. We cannot wait to return! .

What a great place! Lovely layout, so fun.

Due to rental car troubles we were not able to arrive until after midnight. While I waiting for the tow truck, the owner was able to send me all necessary paperwork via text for review and signature. When we rounded to road to the entrance of the Viking Village the lights in the towers were on and everyone was highly impressed despite being exhausted. The owner left the lights on in our cabin welcoming us. The cabin was great for families with a separate bedroom for the parents on the first floor and a loft with two twin beds on the upper floor. The property was clean and spacious and quiet. You do have to drive a little ways for the grocery store and there is no onsite laundry, but it is otherwise perfect. I highly recommend the Viking Village.

If you are looking for a complete retreat from the world this is it. Quiet and relaxing. It was extremly hot when we were there and while our cabin was great being outside was oppressive. There are several swimming areas and hiking but we needed to discover them on our own. Also some better dining out would be nice. A list of local hikes and creating marked trails on the property would be benficial to the experience for all seasons!

There are so many good things to say about this place. It is absolutely amazing. Nothing has been overlooked here. Even the small details are phenomenal. You must see this to appreciate it. You will be left in awe. We love it so much we wish we could live in it. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. We will definitely be back for more than a stop-over next time!
