Cobblestone Inn & Suites - Sheldon

First thing you see when going to your room is a nasty, dirty carpeted staircase and lobby. Likely clean beyond but gives a bad taste from first moment.

Everything was good except the bed was hard and squeaked anytime there was movement. House keeping did knock on the door in the morning thinking we had checked out because "thats what the computer said"

Booking a room and I get there and say there are no rooms due to no cleaning staff I booked it thru Expedia and got there and had to drive 20 minutes out of my way .

Great newer facility. Checkin was fast, friendly. Fine room, nice big TV. Good night's sleep. However, the morning staff was more interested in visiting with each other or on their cell phone, coffee pots and juice were empty. Eggs were not refilled, sausage gravy was so salty it was inedible. Great night ght and stay. Not so great morning.

I stayed two nights and both mornings what was called BREAKFAST was a JOKE !!!!!! If you wanted eggs you were suppose to ask at the front desk - no one was at the front desk ! Bacon was available as was waffle mix, one morning the refrigerator contained one item - the next morning it contained a half empty gallon of milk. The apples that were available were not fresh and most likely should have been given to a horse - if it was starving ! It was so bad and insulting that next time that I’m in Sheldon I will be staying at the Holiday Inn next store !

This would've received all excellent ratings except for the fact that our room did not appear to have been vacuumed. There were crumbs and miscellaneous bits of paper or crumbs in various places in the room and bathroom. I told the front desk clerk about it about an hour after we checked in. She said she would "tell her manager about it". We left for the evening expecting they would have someone vacuum while we were gone but it was the same condition when we returned at 10 pm. Makes me wonder what else was not cleaned in the room! The walls are also very thin and we could clearly hear the TV in the room next to us late at night and early in the morning. We did not eat breakfast there in the morning, so I can't comment on that.

It was just a nice,clean, comfortable room,with a good breakfast.

Horrible, horrible breakfast. We both ended up in the bathroom for a couple hours. The guy cooking eggs has face tattoos and is scary looking. Bugs flying Around our room. Trying to step out of shower almost fell due to huge drop down.

Housekeeping used their key and pushed open the door while we were still in bed with the 'do not disturb' sign in thr outside of the door. They would have entered the room except we had the flip thing across the door. Then they didn't even think to completely shut the door...it was still cracked and they just left. Bugs in bathroom, egg cook had a scorpion thing across his face and it actually startled me and made me pull back instinctively when I saw him. Decent enough guy, but geez I didn't want to see a full face tattoo over breakfast. We both got I'll a half hour after eating breakfast,so we didn't eat there the next morning. Wasntmuch out for.food. Key cards didn't work 2nd day,so had to get new ones. Desk clerk asked Us for the price of the snack from the canteenso she could ring it up. Bed hard. Poorly lit room. Not worth it, going back to Holiday Inn nextdoor for 50 bucks a night more.
