Outer Banks Beach Club

We got there late in the evening for check in after a 12 hour drive with small children. I was worried that checking in that late would be a nightmare (as I have experienced that before), but the security guard zipped right over to check me in, he was very kind and helpful and it was clear that he is just a good guy. It's so nice to be met with this type of kindness even at a late hour.

The outdoor shower was broken which would have been helpful to rinse my kids feet and shoes off before we went up to our apartment but it wasn't that big of a deal.

No wonder there are fleas in room, they do allow pets then make it as an excuse for service animals. These pet owners pretending to be handicapped, they are not disable btw, walking freely and proud with their dogs while management allow this to happen. If it’s for emotional support, isn’t it that’s what’s pet for? They say strictly no smoking with penalty yet nobody is reinforcing it. You see people everywhere smoking/vaping even their own employees. This place can’t follow their own rules. So much to complain about this place. They don’t have enough staff especially in evening/weekends if they do they just stay in their comfortable hiding spots, they don’t see the big kids loitering at the parking lot playing remote cars flipping it next to cars, doing stupid stuff riding the cart luggage to maximum speed lucky it didn’t crash to any of the parked cars but flipped it to the road canal, climbing the fence, hanging out at the tennis court until past 10pm being obnoxiously loud disturbing sleep. The lady manager got the nerve to come and knock on our door at DAYTIME complaining my kids are disturbing the people who are staying on lower level. How about the people from upstairs who walks in the middle of the night waking me up always as if they are Goliath? Maybe they should make their rooms soundproof. One more thing, instead of those employees enjoying their cigarettes in front of the guest elevator how about check on the laundry room that trash has been full ever since day 1 we checked in until our 9th day they never emptied it, that trash was already vomiting its contents.

The variety of outside activities and the location. Was able to try the hot tub this time. Last stay it was broken.

Got told at checkout there was breakfast. Ive stayed before and was never told. Also the staff didn’t tell me where id be going. Said heres ur key and packet and was ready for me to go.
