The master bath was nice with a large jet jacuzzi tub.

The master bedroom door left slide would stick and you would have to use some force to open it. The dishwasher did not work. The dirty linen bag was left in the room from the previous guest. There was cockroaches crawling in the room, which I did take a picture of. The beds were very uncomfortable with no real blankets just a duvet cover.

Very well-maintained, and very family-friendly with activities for different aged kids. 2-3 blocks from CVS, 17thSt SS, McD's, Wendy's, grocery stores, mini golf/arcades and restaurants. Rowdy around the main pool (but not after sunset), more mature and quiet around the 2nd pool, and proximity to the beach (on the ocean-side) is excellent even not on the water. Now that my kid is a teen, she does her own thing all day so the wife and I can walk out with just chairs and relax. Big difference when we have to bring a ton of crap with us. If you get a unit on the water, at this price you'll think you got away with something. Big kitchens, stocked with basics (utensils, coffee pots, plates and glasses), cranking AC's, a big staff that's super efficient and friendly. All the TV's are updated now so you can Airplay anything, plenty of good cable channels. What else? Amazing cross-breeze, little tables outside your door, effortless check-in and out, tennis and basketball courts, pools have jacuzzis and baby pool areas. There's a whole craft-calendar, movie nights, jewelry making, but we didn't do much of that. The positives just go on and on and on.

Ok so family-friendly can be over-whelming depending on the time of season. Early in the season, lots of under-5's and their tired parents, so pretty tame and by 9pm the place is silent. As schools let out, more teens will make things a little wilder, more cook-outs, more day-drinking adults around the pool and maybe later nights but compared, it's still pretty quiet after a certain hour. If you're on the ocean, you won't hear any of the pool stuff, but I can't speak about the 2nd pool area. That's a more cramped cluster of units that all sit right on top of the pool. The design and build of the place and units are pretty old, but again, they're always replacing stairs, railings, updating appliances, etc.

Our 2 bedroom apartment was spacious, clean, fully stocked kitchen, exceeded our expectations, ocean view, easy beach access

The only negative was that both outside pools were closed for 2 days during our stay for maintenance

The parking was limitted. There was a crane blocking the entrance and parking space. Difficult for a 92 yo to access the elevator.
