Autrain Motel

Quaint, unique, affordable. Staff was so nice. We needed someplace before hiking and it did the job.

Deceptive advertising. Very dirty, non potable water , just mud & dirt as you walk in room. Shower so small you can barely fit in. Mattress old and horrible, dirty flat, old pillows. Chair in room was so dirty ! Lot's of better places to stay for similair pricing.

You get what you pay for. Bathroom was tiny & no hairdryer. Fortunately we only needed it for the night. It was clean & the bed was comfy.

Hotel very outdated. Only plus was could walk to the lake.

I typically like the cheaper hotels and you get what you pay for. The hotel was fine, but they charge a $30 property fee which is steep. The television didn’t work even with the added HDMI cable. Not that big of deal since I can and should avoid tv on vacation! I thought the toilet was not cleaned, but it ended up just being the water. The water was yellow. I compared it to a bottle of water I got from the faucet at the previous hotel where I stayed. The hot water from the sink ran dark brown rusty for a bit and then bs keto the yellow. Needless to say, I didn’t drink the water from this hotel. Quiet and peaceful area otherwise. Hotel was clean and AC worked well.

Its wasnt bad for the price, however could have been cleaned a little better.

Limited parking

I was there in winter - the heating works perfectly :)

Great location

Great staff, clean motel and very convenient to have the grocery store right there.
