Galaxy Hotel Downtown

Convenient location for my needs

Parking is a HUGE PROBLEM I had to park down the street at another property I should have just parked across the street at the parking garage- same charges would have applied, $20 per day Security could be another problem- second floor door to outside always open - giving access to all floors

Just a few streets away from the action, the Galaxy Hotel is in a quiet area - easily walkable to most of what downtown St Pete's has to offer. Beds were comfortable (honestly the main thing as I'm not spending a ton of time in the room aside from that!)

I know rain head showers are popular, but as someone who doesn't want to get their hair wet every day I prefer a shower that I can direct a little more. It would have been great to get complementary water each day, not just on arrival, but we were able to fill our bottles on a different floor of the hotel. The other thing, which I'm not sure was any fault of the hotel or not -- I booked via booking.com back in February, got all the confirmations. But on arrival at the hotel they had no record in their system of the reservation. Ultimately they were able to resolve but I could certainly have done without those 20 mins of wondering if I was going to have to look for another hotel at 11.30pm
