Galaxy Hotel Downtown

Lage

Sauberkeit solala, Zimmer war nicht bereit bei check-in. Der Herr an der Reception gab mir dafür „ein Upgrade“ und gab mir das „Luxuszimmer“ nebenan. Dieses war nicht luxuriöser als das ursprüngliche Zimmer; das Putzpersonal liess mich kurz reinschauen. Ich werde einfach nich gerne angelogen. Wasserdruck war einmal zu niedrig, wurde jedoch innerhalb von 8 Stunden repariert.

Location and balcony

Hallways very noisy with doors slamming. Coffee shop closed. Check-in girl wasn’t very informative about what the hotel had to offer or didn’t offer.

Great location and walking distance to downtown and attractions. Loved having a balcony with a great view of the water. Coffee shop in lobby was a bonus. The staff was very nice.

The room came with no extra amenities - only soap and shampoo. 1 side of the bed had a deep indentation - needs to be replaced. The fridge in the room didn't work. The bath towels were thin and very small. Lastly - parking we had to park on the next block at their sister hotel - didn't seem very secure. It had a gate you had to key cared in but the back was wide open and on the back side of the building.

Loved the location! Walking distance from everything! The staff was wonderful and the room was gorgeous and clean. Beautiful hotel

Didn't like that our door was left wide open by housekeeping. We discovered this upon returning from lunch. Noone was around and thankfully nothing was missing. Also, they need to add a conditioner bottle space in the shower.. For the price , a dresser or more storage for clothes should be in the rooms.

Location and staff

Room was not completely cleaned. Coffee maker had old coffee in it and coffee pod still in machine. No body wash in shower. Dirty floors. No one answering front desk calls on two different days. In room Wi-Fi was unreliable.

Die offene Dusche, es war kaum möglich zu duschen ohne grössere Überschwemmung (trotz Duschvorhang !)

The location was perfect, bed was comfortable.

Not enough onsite parking for guests and wasn't aware that we'd need to park several blocks away and pay $75 for weekend parking. (This was, however, during a festival so prices were increased.)
