South Side Inn - Burlington

our stay was very good. however, we will never book anything through hotels.com. and we will not recommend them to anyone. it cost us over $200 more for the room than booking directly, which is what I will do in the future. There needs to be hangers in the room and the water that comes out of the ice machine is not cold. The inn is very convenient to downtown Burlington.

Perfectly clean with comfy beds, but small, tight room, tiny bathroom, rooms face busy road. Suited our needs.

The young lady at the desk was excellent nice personality pleasant very good people person

The door bell situation is weird. Someone was ringing it in the middle of the night waking us up. Then the two women upstairs were engaged in very loud obnoxious relations for an hour at 3:00 am. No care was given that others might be in the hotel with them.Then, men in the hallway talking loudly and slamming doors at 6:00. I got zero sleep for a pretty hefty price.

I liked the quaintness of the property. It was a good mixture of old with the new. Also, I appreciated the attention to detail & the things they did with purposeful intention. I could tell they really cater to their regular customers. It was sweet.

This place is clean, basic and affordable. Comfortable bed, hot.water, small fridge, microwave and TV. Bring earplugs, the walls are thin Hard working owner. Limited dining within walking distance.
