Jacob Lake Inn

We actually love this place- stayed here 6 years ago and glad to be back. The family history of Jacob Lake Inn is amazing if you take the time to read the story and look at the memorabilia in the main building. We stayed in a cabin again this time- had been updated and was very comfortable. Would suggest somewhere to place toiletries in the shower as others have mentioned. Enjoyed our meals in the dining room also- servers were very nice and the food was as good as last time. We had stayed at the North Rim of the Grand Canyon the night before (not in one of their cabins) and our room there was not nearly as nice and more expensive than our cabin at Jacob Lake. We did not mind not having ammenities such as a coffee maker or fridge. It was just pleasant to have a comfortable, cozy place to stay. Hoping this place will be there next time we are out that way.

This is our second time staying here to go to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. It is about an hour away from the entrance so if you’re visiting the canyon for more than a day you might want to stay in the park itself for convenience. We stayed in the hotel section of the Inn & it was great. It doesn’t look like much from the outside but it was more than adequate for a night’s stay.

Quaint lodge. Clean and good cookies. Small thing but since no coffee in the room was disappointed you had to pay for coffee in the lodge and cream was bad. Would recommend they provide complimentary coffee to guests. Overall ok experience but sometimes it is the small things.

Iconic hotel in close to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. The facility was quite authentic for the location.

Staff was extremely friendly and responsive. A truly unique family owned business the caters to the traveler very nicely.

Room ok no microwave. Food was average but the cookies were good. Grounds needed to be cleaned up.

We stayed 2 nights in order to visit the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. The Inn's hotel rooms are very quiet and comfortable. It would have been nice to have a coffee/tea maker and maybe a small dorm fridge in the room, but with such a great restaurant on the property those amenities aren't really missed. The people who work there are friendly and sincerely want their guests to enjoy their visit. If we make it back to the Canyon, we will stay at Jacob Lake again.
