Mansfield Inn

Decided to go to Dickens Weekend in Wellsboro on short notice. Could not find a place in Wellsboro and it was just as well. Called the mansfield Inn in nearby Mansfield and was able to secure a room for the weekend. Arrived to a very clean room with a king bed, refrigerator, microwave, and flat screen tv. Room was not large but who cares. Coffee, continental breakfast and ice available. Right on Main Street near several nice places to eat and grab drinks. Mike, who was in the front desk/lobby area was extremely friendly and willing to do anything to make our visit a comfortable one. Also, the price was much less than what we would have paid in Wellsboro, even if we could have stayed there. Would return without a doubt.

Stayed 1 night while traveling to Watkins Glen for Phish. The bed was soft and slept well, bathroom was very nice & clean. HDTV in the room, fridge, microwave AND coffee maker! Overall, a very cozy stay, at a great rate with wonderful management that accommodated me even though I arrived at 1 am!

This is an older hotel, but it has been fairly well maintained. Room was clean. Furnishings dated - some just needed to go. I was really not a fan of the metal chairs outside of each room rusting on the sidewalk. The rate was very good for the area. They advertised a continental breakfast, but at 7:30, the door to the lobby was locked, so we have no idea if there was one. There are a number of restaurants within walking distance. Yes, we would stay here again.

I was up in Corning, and the hotels were looking expensive and chain-y. Such a pleasure to drive a short way south into PA and find this tidy little motel at a great rate. (To whomever complained about no coffee stirrers a ways back: 1) wow, finicky, and 2) I had some in my room.)

We just needed a good nights sleep. It was very cold outside and nice and toasty in the room. The beds are comfortable, newly purchased. They have really done a lot of remodeling. The owner was really kind and friendly. Yes we will stay again!

Do you have a business promotion Hero? I have an incredible story of honesty and commitment from a small business man in your town. Clearly Mike is a fantastic role model. my wife and I are from Canada and were passing through and decided Mansfield may have a place to stay for the night this past Jan 2015. not only did we find a nice , clean, safe well appointed and thoughtfully convenient motel in The Mansfield inn , but also Mike. honorable honest Mike.! I left my iPad behind ! I thought it lost. Mike found me , and sent the iPad to my home! Unbelievable. I have told everyone!  We have a saying here. Only in Canada eh! But this is untrue. Only in Mansfield eh Mike! I highly recommend the Mansfield Inn, and Mansfield's great ambassador Mike.

To all travelers to Tioga county, PA. Mansfield to Wellsboro. What a tradition to stay at the Mansfield Inn. While other hotels charge 120-220 per night. It was a savings to have a place like this. Big beds, plasma tv, microwave in room etc, hot shower, etc. everything you need plus breakfast included. stayed there before and will stay there again. The best is it is a family owned Inn. Mike was so pleasant to talk with and gave me a better price than the competition. Other hotels that claim to be so sophisticated in the area. The family bends over backwards to greet you and make sure you are comfortable. which i was. I am from orlando, florida and attended a funeral in the area. I know hospitalilty and this place has it plus ++++

Clean rooms, clean beds, clean bathroom. Just an average place but if you are looking for affordable accommodations it's fine. Staff is very nice , at least the night guy was. I would recommend they look into newer mattresses and provide coffee stirrers in the rooms. Other than that if we are back in the area we would stay again.

We had been driving all day and just needed to stop for the night. Found this place; it was after midnight but rang the bell and were able to secure a room from a very friendly guy. Room was very comfortable and clean and right on the main street of the town. Headed out the next morning and about two hours later I realized I had left a favorite necklace on the table. Called them up and they had found it and since we were not going to be coming back that way, they were willing to ship it to our home. Very friendly staff and we will stay there again whenever we have the opportunity. Thanks.

It's is a small motel right in the center of town. Rooms and bathrooms were clean, though I did sleep in a sleeping bag (from the initial look around). Staff was friendly. It is the cheapest place in town so you get what you pay for.
