Harborside Suites

My mother and I checked in for an overnight stay so we could have a day trip to the Cape. It was clear that the man at the front desk is either entirely new or has little idea of what he is doing. Checking in took a good 20+min just to then receive our room number and a text message with the door handle's code number (no key cards). The room was very sparse and there were loose black hairs on everything from the sheets to the sink. When we came back for the night from dinner, we couldn't get into the room because I had locked the door handle. Meaning that you have to leave the door handle unlocked and depend only on the electronic deadbolt while you're away. The door handle I was able to easily unlock from the outside using my car keys to turn the center of the handle. The door handle is not meant to be on front/outside doors. It's the type of door you use in a house and can unlock on either side if your kid locked you out. So this was unsettling... As we were settling in we checked the other door in the room because most rooms at this hotel have adjoining rooms. I opened it and saw the door knob to the adjoining room was the same as the one I picked to get into our room. The door knob on our adjoining door was a simple push button lock with a knob only on our side. Either one of these doors could be kicked in if someone wanted to. They had no deadbolt. So we wedged the rooms desk between our door and the wall for the night. This place isn't safe.

The place was so terrible we forfeited the $200 and drove away. We could not stay in that room.

The property was very clean and cozy. Location wise, there is a wide variety of restaurants and attractions which most them are at a walkable distance. The Owners were very friendly and quick to respond to any additional requests. Have a great rest of the Summer and thank you for having us!

There was no blanket on the bed. We requested a blanket which had a burn hole on it. No pillowcases on the pillows. The toilet seat was falling off. Seemed like people may be living at this hotel. There is a reason the price was so low. We just needed a place to stay for the night but not easy to sleep in conditions like that.

Overall a great room for the price. Room was spacious, clean and updated. Recently renovated but minor finishing details were lacking. Mirror in bathroom was too high. Toilet had a slow leak from base (we just wrapped a towel around it). Large towels were very low quality and left little bits when drying off. I would stay again if in the area.

You can tell with the new owners they are working on it and were very friendly. The inside of our room was renovated though the outside was not. My hope is it keeps getting better as they make improvements.

Very modern room.

Loved my stay here. Rooms were very new and very nice. Not gonna find a better deal on Cape Cod than this place. Close to restaurants and entertainment.

We had an amazing stay at the townhouse. Spacious, clean and dog friendly. The pancake man across the street is delicious! Will stay again next time in town.
