Chestnut Inn at Oquaga Lake

The staff is fabulous!! They are very friendly and attentive. They make sure your stay is wonderful. We will definitely visit again. Food was delicious as well.

We arrived as a family and the staff at the Inn made sure that we were well cared for. Delaney and Valorie made sure that we had wonderful meals and that our water glasses was never empty. Both my boys needed some time to study and the staff was able to show them a quiet room where they could work! We had an awesome stay at the Inn! ❤️

Loved everything. We are so glad they didn't change this quaint and historic Inn. Having been there many times years ago, we were apprehensive that they would have remodeled too much. It was perfect! Warm, cozy, quiet and inviting and the food in the restaurant was terrific.

Not crazy about the portable air conditioning units They were a bit noisy. Our bathroom sink drain needs unclogging but we reported it to the desk and they are going to take care of it. A minor inconvenience

Staff was extremely polite and helpful. Dinner was good. very appealing location.

The included buffet breakfast was ok. But since I always eat bran cereal , or muffins , I did eat some of their provided food . But I brought my own cereal , and muffins as I usually do wherever I go and ate them both days I was there. I would have preferred to eat inside , but it seemed that guests were to eat on the beautiful porch , and I did that. My room was very nice , I was upgraded to 2 rooms , but no lake view. That was ok as I did not stay in room looking out the window anyway. I should have booked directly with the hotel . Booking .com ripped me off.

A lovely and peaceful place on a lake. Lovely, quiet mornings on the porch.

Very well maintained and nice both inside and out.

Parking lot is a bit small. If it was completely booked it would have been hard to find a place to park. Two things come to mind we got there late and had to navigate down a dark hallway to our room. Then we went out for dinner came back to a completely dark building like a blackout and the power was turned off. Anyway I now know what it is like to be a blind person walking down porch to the lobby door I must have hit every piece of furniture on my way to the door. Once inside I found the switch that was clearly labeled for the outside lights for the porch. Outside of that I only wished we could have spent more time their.
