The Hotel Paisano

3rd visit to Hotel Paisano. Outstanding always.

What an amazing property. Wish we would have stayed another day. So much to do and see!

So I would love to give you all 5 stars: The staff was friendly through our stay, the room was quiet, comfortable and clean, and the pool was clean and obviously well-taken care of. However, I really couldn’t give 5 stars because of the gnats in the bathroom. I’m not sure where they were coming from, as the window was closed. Also, there were a couple live bugs on the a/c unit. Please get an exterminator involved if needed! Despite this one issue, we’d stay again. Hopefully the big problem will have been taken care of by then.

The tv didn’t work first night and air conditioning was also not cooling. The front desk clerk was a young man who could not find another room to move us to and suggested we go to alpine the next town over but it was midnight and bad weather but hoped “hoped I appreciated that” which was so condescending .

Great room, great staff, but no breakfast

Built in 1930, full of history, lovely tiled lobby. The room was clean and comfortable but the plumbing for the bathtub/ shower was very old, knobs hard to turn and there was a continuous drip into the tub obviously there a long time as the tub was badly stained. Nice location to see interesting Marfa. Nice but expensive restaurant there.

the decor, the history, the staff Room was clean Jett Grill's chicken with herb gravy - delicious!

The elevator being out of service was a major issue. One in our group is disabled, and it was difficult getting up/down stairs. This should've been disclosed at booking. Dinner service - they were out of several items we tried to order; Most of the food we did receive was not too tasty. Potatoes/brussels sprouts were grossly overcooked, dried & shriveled. Roasted carrots were hard as a rock, etc. There was no breakfast service. Pool area was run down and could've been cleaner.
