Wild Rose Casino & Hotel Clinton

It was just ok. Our room was smaller than most. I know that because our friends had a room that they were comped and it was much bigger than the one we paid for. The mattresses kept moving off the platform so I was constantly moving it back in place.

Very good deal for the area.

Rooms where nice however I stayed in a nonsmoking room and it smelled like smoke.

Smelled like smoke down room hallway and everywhere. Hardly anyone there. Beds kind of hard but slept fine

Rooms are nice. Casino is nice. It is very clean. Continental breakfast was the worst I have ever seen. They used to have a great breakfast. The parking lot area is marred by buckled, uneven pavement. I actually tripped and fell hurting my knee elbow and both wrists. I reported it immediately to hotel and was offered medical attention which I did not need. However, I never was contacted by management to follow up or offer any type of comp. I think this was poor behavior

Although we were almost at the end of the hall, our room reeked of smoke. It was awful. Even if they tell you that you are away from smoking, it doesn’t matter. I thought my husband was snoring, but no it was someone in another room. We heard the family next to us like they were in the same room. Also next to housekeeping and they had their walker talkies on full volume at midnight, and again at 7am. They did not attempt to be even a little bit quieter. We didn’t sleep well and would never return.

The casino is clean, friendly and fun.

Always a warm welcome. Rates are fair. Parking is excellent. Breakfast area is very homey and comfortable.

The hotel is connected to the casino. There are doors that would close it off but they were always open, filling the halls with smoke. The rooms at first didn't smell like smoke, but after a couple of days it started making me sick and I had to find a new hotel. The hotel itself, the room, and the staff were nice. I expected some smoke, but not like it was. If it was non smoking I would definitely stay, but if you are at all sensitive to smoke, I'd suggest a different hotel.

Sorry, but that's the main thing I'll always remember about this casino is the SMOKE! And all the ashtrays lying around with SMOKE billowing above them! Thank God for the fun $5 blackjack tables in the back where thankfully nobody was smoking so we could enjoy our two-hour time here before heading out with our smoky hair, pores, clothing, etc.
