Antioch Hotel & Suites

I was put off by the desk clerks puzzling attitude. First, we booked this property partially because they advertised a morning breakfast. That turned out to be Coffee and a selection of bread items or one style of doughnut and a do it yourself waffle machine On asking, we found out that Saturday and Sunday had the full “breakfast spread” … that included the same bread choices, and coffee plus a tray of microwaved sausages and I think probably some microwave egg patties … More importantly, on Friday evening, my travel companion asked for a cup of water so she could take her medication. The response was “ No. water from the sink is for employees only” I found that response representative of the attitude we experienced for our 3-day stay. To be clear, it wasn’t a horrible hotel. I just can’t recommend them.

The staff was great. Hotel shows some age. Bathtub drain for shower was very slow. Breakfast during the week is very limited

I found a bobby pin in my room and the couch in our room was very worn and just looked really bad. The carpet in the halls are all gathered up. They need to be stretched and I felt bad the staff in the breakfast area and cleaning those areas in the morning just didn’t seem happy. I did tip one of the ladies because she seemed to be working pretty hard, but she was frustrated. I think with Patron leaving drips on the counters and stuff. The bed was very uncomfortable and the pillows were just awful. Not sure if we’ll be staying here again. This is our second time in last eight months. To top it off, we have to have our keys keyed probably about eight times we had to go to the front desk. We could not get in the building a few times we can get our room many times.

The hotel was ok, room not that clean as I prefer, check in and check out same as any other place you can expect, nothing unusual. One of the back door for the building was not working.

Quiet, clean hotel, and yummy breakfast.

The pool is gorgeous! The beds were very comfortable and rooms were reasonably sized. Our stay in general was great. It was close to the Bristol Renaissance Faire. We would definitely stay there again.

Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The bed was very comfy, we traveled there to do a 5K so needed a comfy bed after a long day. We also went to the Fox’s bar and Ray the bartender was absolutely fantastic. Super attentive, friendly, and funny. If we ever have to come back to the area, we will definitely stay again.

They do have Burger King and KFC in total walking distance. The bed was very comfortable and parking was very easy. The staff was excellent and very accommodating we were in a situation and they let us check in almost 2 hours early with no charge, the pool was nice and the hot tub was wonderful, the only bummer was they didn’t have the full breakfast because it was a Monday, but they still had waffles, bagels, yogurt and things like that. So all and all old definitely stay again
