Longfellow Hotel

The Longfellow is a great option in Portland--it's quiet, comfortable, clean, and within walking distance of everything. It is not in the Old Port area, which made it more desirable to me, but it's only about a 15 minute walk to downtown and the port area. The service was excellent, and we really enjoyed our stay!

Nicely designed, well run Hotel with thoughtful touches. The lobby Café is a lovely place to sit for a glass of wine before going out to dinner. It’s in the best location, away from all of the touristy stuff and walking distance from some of the best restaurants in Portland, including the incredible Tandem bakery right next-door. The only issue I had, and this is a minor one, is that all of the lightbulbs are cold bright LEDs. I don’t know why hotels don’t get warmer bulbs as it really takes away from the atmosphere in the room. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Portland.

Fabulous hotel, wonderful staff with a fabulous cafe attached for breakfast.

Loved our stay at Longfellow. The amenities were great (highly recommend the spa!) and town car was an added perk we took advantage of. The drinks at the bar were some of the best we had in Portland. We loved the sustainability aspect of the rooms and found the bed to be very comfy. All communication is done via text and we found the responsiveness to be spotty (anywhere from 5 min to the following day). Other than that, we had an excellent stay and will definitely be returning.

Amazing customer service.

The hotel experience was 10 out of 10! I arrived well after midnight, and the person at the front desk was more than helpful! The bar/ restaurant was fantastic during my stay. Everyone was very friendly and accomidating.
