The Hotel Palomino is a wonderful small hotel in lovely Ridgway that we are so excited to have discovered. It is beautifully decorated with a fun Western theme but has all of the modern comforts and conveniences. We brought our pup along and there was even a comfy dog bed and special treats waiting for him! We will absolutely be staying again.
We had a WONDERFUL stay at Hotel Palomino. To start the room was BEAUTIFUL. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. You can definitely tell the owners took great care when balancing ascetics and room design down to the last detail. One of the nicest pet friendly places we have ever stayed. Their location is a great “home base” to venture out into Ouray or Ridgway and also a good place to rest up before a long drive somewhere else. The online check-in was very easy to use and the staff were very quick to respond with questions we had about modifying our stay. We will definitely be staying here again and will be recommending this hotel to our friends and family.

Took me a minute to get used to because it was different. No check in desk. Unusual curtains to close… figure out sink faucet…but once all that became comfortable, I LOVED it!
USAwesome, comfortable place! The bed was very comfortable and I have back problems. We loved it. It was very clean as well! Our friends were staying at the Ridgeway campground and it was only a 10 minute drive. Well worth it and the air conditioning was amazing because it was very hot in July!
I loved this place. Unique, clean, fun, so different it took me a minute, but I ended up not wanting to leave. Awesome shower, pillows, bed…. Also used recommendation for restaurant, True Grit, and the steak dinner was delish. Definitely will return.
Such an adorable and comfortable boutique hotel in Ridgeway, CO. Perfectly situated between Ouray, Telluride and an easy drive to Montrose & Black Canyon of the Gunnison. The hotel was clean, quiet and adorably decorated in an Old West Style. My teen daughters loved the twin beds in the loft. The sink was located outside the toilet/shower room, which was helpful since the four of us were sharing 1 bathroom. My husband and I enjoyed a drink one evening around the gas fire pit in the common outdoor area. Very relaxing way to spend the evening after a day full of outdoor adventure!
We love this place , great location , spacious and super comfortable room , and so welcoming, the restaurant next door had amazing food, and it was so close to Orvis hot spring. Everything was awesome. Can't wait to come back and stay here again soon .
USThis is a lovely spot to stay in the San Juans and we very much enjoyed our weekend there. The property is well designed, the rooms are spacious and clean with all the essentials, and the onsite restaurant is tasty and convenient. Ridgway main street and river access are a short walk across the street. It was a great basecamp for exploring the San Juan region and I highly recommend staying there.
Loved the hip western aesthetic of this room. Quiet, entertaining, and comfortable. Suggest black out window coverings for better privacy.
