Little Mod Hotel at the University

This is the coolest hotel in Charlottesville! Close to everything that matters, and an awesome retro vibe. Room was spotless and very comfortable. You'll love the huge bathroom and shower. Wanna spin a little Sinatra vinyl in your room? Yeah...you can do that here...with the provided turntable and albums. As if that wasn't enough, the staff is commonly kind. This is where you need to be.

We did not have breakfast at the hotel but the hotel was very cute and clean and it was just wonderful. We are planning to come back and this will be the place we will stay in the future.

We were not informed that the extra cost charged at the property was for incidentals and would be returned. A week later and our refund of the extra charge has not come through. Had trouble getting a direct response from the Hotel Staff about this issue and a larger client services team has told us only to "wait for it"

No closet or desk

I got there the first night, train was so loud shook building, no parking, I had to pay 60 at public parking, when staff told me it was 7 a day. I ask to end my 3 day stay early to move to a different hotel, not an option . I had to carry all my luggage up 4 flights of stairs at garage down the street at 6 am . It is on frat house row and loud. The lobby has very limited hours, you are given a number to text or call with issues. Never again ! Don’t stay there!

Great accommodations in a fun environment. Cool retro motif with working Bluetooth record player complete with jazz and blues records, lime green retro fridge, clean and comfortable. The airstream taco truck out front serves up tasty breakfasts with a couple of gluten free options. Only issue was noise from the train but that can't be helped

The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was very clean and so charming, and the location was perfect!

There's no parking at the property so you either needed street parking or to go down about a half a block for a parking garage.
