Mouse droppings in the bathroom

We checked in late, around 1030pm. There was no desk person present. They had some sort of machine check in that a person located somewhere in the US suddenly pops up and requests documentation and cc. I get it times are moving fwd, but this machine was brutal. Couldn’t understand a thing the lady was saying. That process sucked, also nothing in the room. No coffee machine, they did have a fridge and microwave, but nothing other than that. The room was rather large and had a powerful AC so that was nice.

Very large spacious room that had a great location. Virtual check out was a breeze!

The room smelled a bit like last nights dinner. Noisy hallway and banging on door in the middle of the night.

Clean room. These rooms sre very large and well equipped. Beds are comfortsble. Best part it is dog friendly

I like the location.

The room was very clean and updated, which made for a comfortable stay. However, the laundry room, elevator, and hallways were not as well maintained, and the floors in those areas could have been much cleaner.

Understaffed

Not sure if this is a general problem, or one occasioned by the handicap room we were assigned, but the shower curtain wasn't long enough to reach the bottom, resulting in a pool of water each time we showered. I was initially skeptical about the mattress which seemed rather soft, but I slept fine, so I guess it's OK if non-standard for hotels. The pillows were tiny and there were only two for the two of us. The pet fee is very modest (we paid $10/night) and so that is a selling point if one has a dog. The overall cost is a good value. Despite our reservations, we would definitely return to this property if we need to be in the Lansing area.
