Holiday Inn Express & Suites Oscoda by IHG

The breakfast was awesome. The community beach was nice except for the traffic.

I asked to stay one more night and was told only two nights were available. When i waited in line the night manager excepted other people to stay one night without reservations. The day I checked out the room was available for one more night per hotel day manager. I informed her i got other reservations due to what i was told by the night manager.

This property is adjacent to a municipal beach with nice facilities. It is close to many restaurants. The staff was helpful in printing out airline boarding passes. The breakfast was ample and varied -- the food was good.

From the moment we checked in to the moment we left, everyone treated us like guests in their own home and made us feel welcome and special. The free breakfast buffet on Sunday morning had a variety of options, very good! The view from our lakeside room was incredible; watched the sunrise over the lake as I woke up. And you can’t beat the location literally steps from the beach—no need to cross a street!, all around fantastic and even better than I expected.

Breakfast was great! Location is beautiful. First day our room wasn’t cleaned. The pool room and water was so hot you couldn’t stand yourself. Area and pool weren’t cleaned, pool was full of sand. Someone had gotten sick on the outside dining area, took over 24 hours for it to be cleaned. Definitely a different stay this time. We stayed in 2024 Ane had a much better experience

In-room TVs are not Bluetooth enabled, no Netflix or other available apps to login to in the room. Basic cable and HBO only. Pillows very flat. No hairdryer. No housekeeping services. No one answered when we called the front desk.

Beautiful location with lots to do, great vacation spot. It may be my favorite beach town in Michigan so far. They have the nicest staff and make everyone feel very welcome and appreciated. Holiday inn express always has a high standard of cleanliness and comfortable beds.

Breakfast had a great selection and it was busy but staff made sure food was available and hot Location was great ! Play area next door was wonderful

We were looking forward to the pool but room and the pool was dirty. We stayed two nights and three days and the pool area had not been mopped and I know it’s hard because people are coming from the beach into the pool, but it needed attention
