The Cape

The heated pool is exceptional. The property is deceiving from the front. The rooms are clean and pretty. They have cottages on the rear of the property and a beautiful pool with some grills av!ailable and table with benches--so cute. Oh and the beds are comfy.

No soda or snack machine ,no coffee or tea in the room had a microwave for what and the tv sucks couldn't find any local TV it's all junk stuff with Roku couldn't figure out how to use it and the pool wasn't heated like it said it was

Cozy and quiet. The property was beautifully groomed. Rooms could use a little updating. Perfect for a weekend getaway.

The beach aesthetic of the room was really nice. Room was clean but was lacking in some ways. Example…no coffee maker. I don’t think I’ve ever been in a hotel that didn’t have one. There were only 2 towels for my family of 4 (that included 2 women). I called the front desk for more and they only brought me 2 additional towels. In my experience, there are usually 2 towels provided PER GUEST. Not a deal breaker but inconvenient. Especially when paying close to $400 a night. Here’s my biggest complaint…the lack of electrical outlets for plugging things in like phone chargers. There was literally half of one accessible outlet in the whole room! It was in between the 2 beds and 1 of the ports has the lamp plugged into it. So if you wanted to use both ports you have to unplug the lamp. And if you slept on the far end of either bed you have no outlet for charging your phone at night. They had a beautiful vanity with a big mirror but no outlet. Which is very inconvenient if you have multiple people getting ready to go out for the night. My suggestion for the hotel is to add some more outlets, a Keurig machine for each room (they are so cheap now) a vending machine on property for basics like water and snacks and don’t be so tight with the towels. It’s a cute property that is clean and comfortable and I would stay there again but some minor changes would go a long way.

I thought the pool was very nice. The property is also nice and clean. The staff was very helpful in helping us get a reservation for dinner at the last minute of the weekend.

Overall our stay here was okay. The area felt safe and we were comfortable sleeping, but there were several things about our stay that were annoying and inconvenient. First, the front door was nearly impossible to open once the code was put in and needed to be slammed shut in order to be locked. My mother couldn’t even open the door at all it stuck and required a decent amount of force to even budge it often requiring mutiple attempts to open the door. The toilet seat in our room wasnt attached on one side so when being used it would slide and was uncomfortable/jarring feeling like you were going to fall off. The floor was also very dirty and there was no maid service for us during our stay. Not super close to the attractions to walk, everything was easily reached by car but if you’re looking to not have to drive much and pay for parking this is not the place for you. Overall it was okay, but we will not stay here again.

Room was clean and new. Pretty quiet….didn’t hear guests in the adjoining rooms except when someone entered their room at 2:30 am. Very efficient check-in and check-out.

Would have liked better lighting in the room. It was difficult to read a book since lighting was dim. Would have liked a chair or two as well as a larger bathroom vanity to place toiletries when getting ready to go out.

We needed a room quickly since our other booking failed. It was clean, quiet, bed and bathrooms were great. Location is within city limits. Staff was accommodating. No problems parking and price was great compared to surrounding areas. I would use again. No hassles at all
