The Swan Hotel

Nice room with a view. The best in room coffee k pods I've come across traveling. Right in town so you can walk everywhere. lots to do right there with the Pt Hudson Marina next door, the Maritime Museum, Whale Watching tours and walking through downtown Port Townsend.

The property was very clean and in the perfect location to walk downtown or to the beach. Parking lot is small but other than that a perfect stay.

The Swan Hotel is on the quiet end of down-town across from the NW Maritime Center, Center for Wooden Boat Building and a literal stone's throw from the marina, which I think is the nicest end of town to stay in (Easy stroll to all of downtown, the beach, as well as the "upper part"). We stayed in the main hotel 2nd floor ("no view"). The room was clean, decent sized, with a reasonably up-to-date bathroom, a microwave and a coffeemaker. The hotel has walk-around decks rather than hall-ways which double as balconies (w 2 adirondack chairs). No elevator though. Parking is dedicated but tight.

Location is great. Room was spacious and bed comfortable.

The hotel was charming and well maintained ! The beds were very comfortable and the staff was very friendly., and at night it was very quiet. I loved the location! A great walkable area. So close to the NW Maritime Center, where we had our morning cofffee and then walked the downtown area to explore the unique shops!

We were on a road trip when we decided to stay in the beautiful town of Port Townsend. We drove through town and ended up at the waterfront, where we discovered the Swan Hotel. The person at the desk let us see the cabin (#1), and we immediately fell in love with it! The bed was wonderful! The room came stocked with the coziest robes and fluffiest plush towels. We curled up by the fireplace and enjoyed the atmosphere of the vaulted ceiling and woodwork. It was the favourite hotel of our entire trip down to San Diego, and I will highly recommend staying at the Swan Hotel to everyone! And we definitely will want to return!

This was our second stay, and much like the first, was exceptional! The room was clean, and as a pet friendly room, had no dog odor at all. Staff are friendly and accommodating. The personalized dog treat bag makes me smile. I can not wait to come back. Port Townsend is the sweetest town. Everyone is so friendly and helpful! I can not wait to come back! Very well-run and convenient hotel in the heart of downtown Port Townsend - easy walking distance to shops and restaurants in the central waterfront area, 5 minute drive to Fort Worden. Pleasant and helpful staff, nicely furnished and spotless rooms. We chose a cabin which provided extra quiet and privacy, plus no-steps (well, 1 step) accessibility. The space was a bit cramped but they provided everything needed (tv, wifi, private parking space, coffeemaker, frig, microwave, utensils).

This was the second time I've stayed at the Swan, and this time I brought family members. One of them was disabled and the staff was very accommodating, and let them change rooms to one that worked better for them. The beds are comfortable. Really. All four of us remarked at dinner one night how well we were sleeping there. The cleaning crew does a great job. The room heaters work well. The in room coffee and tea service is nice. There's a night light in the bathroom. My first choice in accommodations in Port Townsend!
