he gave us a small discount on a meal in the restaurant and we appreciated that, We felt that service could have been better but we enjoyed our stay

A bit if delay in getting the keys but the staff was nice

The hotel felt safe, it was a very spacious room (King + daybed), one window AC unit for a large space; however, it was hot. There is significant road noise but they provide ear plugs. Town felt safe, nice place to crash for a night with my family and dogs.

E now stayed here 2 times; during last years road trip & again yesterday. So comfy & excellent food options

Staff was great, the food across the street was amazing. The only issues I had were the beds and bedding were very uncomfortable.

Friendly, clean and convenient. While this is not a mega chain property overflowing with amenities, it IS a great place to stay. I would (and hope to) stay here again next year! GREAT JOB, Mark and John!

Great place!

The hotel rooms are above a bar. We were allocated the room just above it (it was a larger room than what we booked). The place is old but mostly clean (except the towels; a couple were stained). We couldn’t understand why there were earplugs next to beds. We did later at night: There was a live rock concert in the bar the Saturday we stayed. The earplugs made zero difference — the whole building was reverberating with the noise of the music (like at a rock concert). It stopped after midnight. We should have either been offered a quieter (further away) room, or at least given an advance warning (and opportunity to cancel) about the concert. It might be ok on other days of the week, but we won’t stay here again.
