Casitas at Capitol Reef

The location was great. The outside set up was great also even though we didn’t get a chance to use it.

It was a little cramped trying to get around one side of the bed. I also did not like the idea that they ask for a tip for the cleaning staff but then tell me that I need to clean my dishes before leaving. Do one or the other.

The mattress was very uncomfortable and the bed squeaked. The handle actually came off the door when I opened it. All of that is nothing compared to the smell.... it was like old plumbing or something similar. I paid more for my room here than anywhere on my 10 day road trip, and was least impressed.

There was no breakfast, Our room was changed and had only 1 bed when we reserved one with 2. Very disappointed.

Lack of communication.

Location and separate casitas from each other so no noise !

We prefer a walk in shower to a tub/shower combo

The accommodation is private in that it is a standalone "tiny home".

A tiny home should have at least one closet for clothes and would have been great if this unit had a washer/dryer like the others on the property. The living space is very cramped. This is not a great accommodation for winter because the room/home never got warm even with the heater on at 82 degrees. We did have an issue with the staff.. We texted and emailed a request for a late check out because my wife needed to have wifi and a desk at 11am-noon for a work meeting, but we did not hear back at all. We contacted the owners of another property 5 minutes away we found on a short-term rental site that morning and they had us checked in early by 11am to accommodate my wife's meeting, and we stayed there for the duration of our trip.

Our room was great. We had plenty of space for our family of four. It was so helpful to have the kitchenette. The closest was spacious. The room was very clean. The views from the property were beautiful. The was location is close to Capitol Reef National Park. We liked the Adirondack chairs around the fire pit.

The air conditioner in our room was quite loud.
