Over priced. Not good breakfast. Rude house keepers. They hold a $75 deposit ontop of your ridiculously overpriced stay

Have you ever walked into a place and immediately regretted your decision to book? As soon as we headed down the hall To our room we noticed how dated and beat this place was. Got to room, issue one, room safe didn’t work. Called desk, they seemed surprised we cared. Said they would send someone, here a week, still waiting. As others stated, key card would stop working. This was everyday and they just didn’t care. They advertise as a beach resort but want nothing to do with the beach. You can’t Get a chair or even a towel. Gotta pay a vendor $45 per day. A big part of their business is renting out parking space for beach goers, we paid the same $10 per day rate but weren’t guaranteed a parking space. Along with that, get used to lines of people Dragging wagons full of beach gear thru the lobby and halls, the main floor is always filthy and crowded. At 1st they were good about cleaning, changing towels in room, by day 3 that changed and they got quite rude about it when we asked. We waited 3 days for bar soap for sink and a bath mat. Never did get shower gel refilled, when I told the front desk the response was “have you let anyone know?” Aaaa yes YOU! I call the pool the gray water tank. No way it has been cleaned this year. I wouldn’t go in there with a hazmat suit. Also, it was not The pool I saw pictures of, the really nice pool I saw from the windows was Next door at the Hilton. The close to restaurants is sort of true, there are 3 right here but other than those this place is close to nothing. You will need to drive for dining options or shopping. SPI has no shortage of beaches with great access, do not stay here thinking this is your best option.

Excellent service from all staff members. Every staff member there was very friendly. Room was very clean and cleaning ladies were on top of ensuring our room was clean and stocked with towels, etc. Our TV didn’t have service for some reason but they were able to replace it with a new one in a quick and timely manner! Breakfast was very good as well! Very close to the beach! We really enjoyed our time there
