USI was disappointed with my recent stay due to several misleading interactions with staff. First, I was told that Special Rates weren’t available on certain dates, only to find out later that this wasn’t true. I had also requested a specific room type and even called ahead to confirm the request. However, upon check-in, we were given a different room. When we returned to the front desk to address the issue, the clerk tried to discourage us from waiting by saying it would take three hours to get the room we originally requested. Surprisingly, after we settled in the lobby, the wait only ended up being 15 minutes. Lastly, I asked if our stay could be applied to my rewards points. The front desk clerk claimed she had tried to contact me but then admitted there was no phone number on record. While the hotel itself is nice, the lack of honesty and professionalism from the staff left a negative impression. The way guests are treated makes all the difference, and unfortunately, this experience was disheartening.

We had a great time at the Element. The staff were incredibly helpful and very friendly.
It was a nice room and place to stay, however I drain in the sink was broken and the shower drain was also broken

Was looking forward to trying this newer hotel as I travel there monthly. However the front desk crew was unhelpful and rude. They charged me a no show fee for an honest mistake. Clearly being a platinum elite member means nothing, nor does future business.
