Red Roof Inn Charleston - Dunbar

Your hotel has great potential, and the décor was very nice. Staff was friendly. On a positive note, the bathtub, bathroom floor, and shower were clean, and the mirrors and windows were spotless. However, the shower curtain was dirty, even though the liner was clean

Our room did not appear to have been cleaned thoroughly for some time. There were dried chunks of something on the desk, and the bedspread was dirty (though the sheets were clean). The floor had not been mopped, with multiple areas where dirt was stuck, and we even found fried rice from someone’s previous meal on the floor. . It was disappointing because just 10 minutes of proper cleaning could have made all the difference. Additionally, there was food stuck to the housekeeper’s tip envelope labeled “Kayla” that was left on the dresser.

The fact that I had to leave at 5 AM and didn’t have to stay there any longer.

Not much to expect from the red roof Inn.

No frig or microwave. Essential basics for a room. Next time I will read closer. No pool available.

The bed was comfortable

We rented a room with a jacuzzi and the jacuzzi was nasty black and green stuff was coming out of the Jets the fiberglass was peeling up on the bottom of the jacuzzi so I didn't even use it and I asked for another room with a jacuzzi and well the nether room was the same exact way so I asked for a discount or refund and I never got anything so I will never ever stay at a Red roof inn again I called corporate they did nothing about it I tried to get my deposit back I don't think I ever got it back I'm just very very dissatisfied oh yeah and there was a opening in the windowsill about a half inch wide and it kept letting all the cold air in it was terrible and I've never do this again ever I'll sleep in the truck first
