Pilot Cove Forest Lodging

Beautiful, cool, clean, great location. I highly recommend staying here. So perfect. Beautiful outdoor deck. Comfy bed where we watched the sunrise. We stopped in Asheville. Did yoga at the Asheville Yoga Center. Are lunch at Rosetta’s Kitchen, shopped around in town then drove to Brevard, a “Blue Zone” town

Great location, and far better than staying at a hotel…terrific jumping off point for adventures in the area. Have stayed several times, and the only place I stay in the Brevard area.

Pilot Cove is located just outside the Pisgah National Forest, I was able to reach several trail heads for hiking within a 15 minute drive. Some biking trail heads are right on the edge of the property. The small town of Brevard was also only a 10 minute drive to the south, with small shops, breweries, and restaurants.

The unit did not have a hot tub or jacuzzi tub. After a long day of hiking, lying in a tub would have been nice.

The mountain biking trails were my favorite. My girlfriend and I decided to take the risk and seek some thrill, and you delivered. This was the best intro to an outdoorsy lifestyle. I recommend it for any beginners who can afford it.

I wish I was told in advance about the road closures for the tour Blue Ridge Self Tours. This was definitely the biggest setback on our plans

The cabin layout was very efficient. Private.

Time to replace the mattress. Couch was uncomfortable to say the least. Next visit we will try another cabin not 96.

The air conditioning is hard to use
