HiWay Inn Express

The hotel has obviously been elegant. We were happy with our room. There were 3 of us and there were 2 thin towels only. The breakfast had the fewest choices I've ever seen. Two sweetened cold cereals, a gallon jug of whole milk, tiny muffins and breakfast bars. A pot of coffee and a container marked sweetener and one marked creamer. But the dining room was elegant with marble topped tables and upholstered chairs. The upholstery matched that of the side chair in our room. We were in Hugo to visit the Showman's Rest part of the cemetery and were disappointed that there were no brochures available about this tourist attraction. But I might stay there again. Not msny choices in Hugo.

We never got to stay…when we got there we were told they didn’t accept hotels.com reservations.

The property was kept in run down condition& not kept clean

Customer service was excellent, hotel is pretty out dated and not enough lighting outside, we have blue went for a concert so it server our purpose, but wouldn’t want to stay more then one night, my husband said breakfast was a box of cereal and milk.

Room was clean and had basic necessities. I am a little disturbed that someone came in my room because I didn't have a so not disturb sign for the door. They didn't make the bed, the knocked over the bathroom trash and didn't pick it up. Replaced 1 towel and didn't leave or replace the floor mat for the bathroom. Why bother coming in of you're not going to service the entire room? Seems shady

They need to replace the upholstery chair and desk chair in our room.

Good stay

Crappy mattresses on wood box. No tv access. Room was not clean. I woulda expected it for $39. I know it wasn't $300 but still....

When I arrived there,they had me set up in a single room and was supposed to be a room with 2 beds. The desk clerk fixed the issue and set me up in a double. Really friendly staff. Comfortable atmosphere and walking distance to Walmart,convience store and Taco Bell.

The room did not smell great and caused my allergies to really act up.
