Limantour Lodge

Location was fabulous for a respite from the noise of the city and for wildlife and color. Also access to the hiking trails made it the perfect location for me.

My ‘private’ bathroom was not really private and convenient as I’d hoped . I paid a lots of money for the Queen room only because I wanted a private bathroom.

Beautiful location, friendly staff, comfortable bed. Lots of nice places to sit outside.

We expected a private bathroom - and got one, but it was down the hall and locked! Getting up in the night, dressing and entering a key code to use the restroom was not cool, especially given the price we paid to stay here.

This location is inside the national park, and it is 20 minutes from the closest town but I highly recommend it because we saw many animals along the way to and from the lodge! We saw deer, raccoon, fox, bobcat, fox etc. It is wonderful to see the animals in their natural habitat!

There was way too much noise in the farmhouse. Not a peaceful stay. The front desk was wonderful… it’s just the room is very loud and the walls are paper thin

Location is amazing, right in the middle of nature. Rooms are very cozy. Shared bathroom and toilet were always very clean. Shared kitchen is filled with amenities that make it easy to prepare any meal.

Everything was very good!

Location was excellent. I didn’t have breakfast, but the coffee was very good.

Personally I thought the mattress was too hard. Also a staff member had my partner charge his cell phone outside the lodge in the hot sun the morning we left. Apparently he was not asked whether he was a lodge guest.

Shared batroom facilities

The place is so special! Vibes are mountain bo-ho. It is only an hour and a half north of San Francisco yet feels like you’re in a different country. The first night we saw foxes, hummingbirds and a bobcat right outside the room. Everything is eco friendly and rustic and comfortable and just plain cool.
