The Washington Downtown Boutique Hotel

This is a lovely hotel, perfectly located on the beach and next to the ferry terminal. The rooms were lovely and clean and the staff really friendly. The restaurant on the bottom floor of the hotel was an unexpected surprise and the food and service were amazing! We just wished we had booked to stay longer. The photos of the hotel really don’t do it justice, it’s much nicer even in real-life.

The Location was about an 8 minute walk from the Jet Express terminal. There are several decent restaurants that you can walk to, close to the hotel.

I got back from Kelley's island around, 8:30 PM. At this point, I had not checked into the hotel. There is no staff at this hotel; However, The check in instructions were good. After I had dinner, I went to get into my room around 10:30 PM. The cypher lock would not open the door, initially. I tried several time, carefully making sure I was entering the correct code. The lock finally opened. It was a very hot and humid evening so the room was very hot. I found the thermostat and tried to put the AC on full blast after turning on all the ceiling fans. The AC was on but barely able to cool the room. The blower motor for the AC was very loud and annoying as well. Trying to sleep was not easy or restful.

There’s no lobby, everything is done over the phone and hard to reach anyone. Be prepared for lots of stairs. Tight stairs that is. But it a cool idea. But very over priced.

You can hear the neighbors in the adjacent apartment I only heard their tv but I think everyone realizes this and quiets down at 10pm so respectful guests should feel welcome

The property was beautiful and the facilities were brand new. In unit washer and dryer that blew my mind, I’ve never seen that in a rental. It was exactly what we needed last minute and ideal location for cedar point and other beaches.

I had a very hard time checking in. not entirely the property’s fault, when using third party booking sometimes things happen but the locks were temperamental and had to stand outside in the heat for almost an hour trying to get inside.

This home is located in a beautiful neighborhood near Lake Springfield. We only stayed one night but would have loved to stay more. There were so many areas inside and outside the house to relax and enjoy the quiet of the evening. There is a refrigerator dedicated to guests to store items that needed cooling. In the morning, we enjoyed coffee from an amazing coffee machine. The owners were helpful in letting us make a last-minute change to our reservation and in giving us suggestions on places to eat. We want to come back here and stay longer.

Absolutely nothing!

Very clean and easy check in. Renovated and very cute.

We were not provided with enough towels/linens for our stay. For 2 people for 2 nights we were given 1 towel, 3 wash cloths, and 3 bath rugs. Staff did not answer my message of where I could get another towel.
