Overall it was a decent stay at a good price for the area. It was a good sized apartment in a perfect area of town. However, the check in and check out process is not very clear. After having to jump through hoops to get registered, I was disappointed that they once again asked for the same information on the day of travel. getting the key, etc was also convoluted. The cleanliness and condition of the apartment was also below the standard we expected.

There are pros and cons to this stay. PROS: Comfy beds, efficient AC, spacious, laundry in unit, cleaned carpets. CONS: A hidden charge to use the pool, which would have been more than $40/day. VERY disappointing for our kids. Not stocked well AT ALL for cooking, laundry, shampoo/conditioner, and toilet paper. We had to contact the management company, and they did send someone with Tide Pods and toilet paper. They say they only stock enough for your first day. What? The lobby and grounds are very nice, which is why when you get to the terrifying and stained carpets of the 6th floor hallways, you are praying your room is okay. It's a very old building with little updated. While the room was reasonably clean, the bathroom felt very dirty, the blinds were grimy and broken in many places, and the walls were marked up in many places. The kitchen doesn't have sufficient supplies to cook and only stocks salt and pepper packets with a few oil packets. No spatula, no hot pads, VERY minimal. Overall, we simply used this as a place to eat and rest between our DC sightseeing, but it was disappointing for sure. BIGGEST CONCERN: We reported to property management that only about 10% of the electrical outlets work. They said they would send maintenance and then told us all the receptacles were fine. Maybe they have power, but they are so old and loose nothing will stay plugged in or charge. It seems like a danger to residents of Crystal Towers and a frustration for guests.

Area was beautiful but inside property need help
USCar parking was a challenge. Communication with the management was difficult. Way too many dogs in the building for us.
Stayed for 6 days 4 adults- lots of room but lack of towels like no kitchen towel or dish rag, no wash cloths, only enough toilet paper for first day( knowing 4 adults coming) Be prepared to wash to make use of limited towels. Nice to have machines but once again limited (2 pods.) Bring your own soaps/shampoos… Each room had missing vertical blindes so good luck on sleeping when the suns up. Location is very convenient to metro and restaurants, CVS and target with a longer walk- Was good to feel safe!
