Ivy Cellar - 2 Bedroom Apartment - Tenby

The property was centrally located and just a few minutes walk to everything. The beaches, the shop, restaurants, Sainsbury's and multi-story car park. The two bedroom apartment was very comfortable and was a great place to relax in the evening. The kitchen was well equipped for making breakfast or simple meals. The dishwasher and clothes washer made clean up a breeze.

The garden door could have been better posted to find when driving down the one way street. Passed it several times with traffic behind. No house number to help as it is a garden entrance.

A good location close to the town centre, quite spacious inside and there was decent quality furniture. Good quality kitchen equipment as well.

Limited parking should be advertised, we were lucky to get one of the 10 available spaces on the street. Only windows at the front of the property (apart from small bedroom windows with a wall a few feet away) meaning the living room, bedrooms and bathroom were all quite dark and gloomy. Patio area at the front could do with a few small pots of plants to pretty it up. Few snags need addressing, trim on kitchen unit coming away, damp damage to fireplace surround, chewed carpet trims, dog nose marks on the glass door into the living room- little things that just give a poor first impression.

Location is great for Tenby. Well equipped for all our needs.

No clothes airer, only an outside washing line. Mould around bath. A king size bed would’ve been nicer in the master bedroom. And yes, the bathroom ceiling is very low.

Lovely apartment, very well equipped and very central.

Parking can be difficult, unless you are happy to pay for long stay parking, which is just up the street from the apartment. We were very lucky and found parking outside for the weekend but I can imagine this would be much more difficult during holiday periods.

Very comfortable sofa and beds, felt like a nice safe area to stay. Lovely kitchen and a very clean house.

We discovered that one of the bedroom lights did not work, also the living room light was flickering on and off throughout our stay. We had some issues with the front door not closing properly at times. Shower curtain was mouldy and we were only provided with half a toilet roll without previously being warned that there wouldn’t be any.

Warm, quiet and clean with lovely comfy beds.

The steps really should be mentioned in the advert and not just the reviews, they would be difficult for anyone with mobility issues, Mum struggled with them, but we did appreciate the sensor lighting which made things easier, also the kitchen table is not fit for purpose, unless you like your dinner in your lap, wobbly or what, shame as would be such an easy fix .
