Urban Chic Apartments Near Center City

The location was sketchy but it was in a locked building so that made me feel safe. . The two places we rented had a good amount of room. Comfy couches and living area.

The one apt on the first floor had a bad ant problem, both in kitchen and bathroom. The air conditioner was broken in the bedroom, never been cleaned i think was the main problem. Tried cleaning the filter but it didn’t help. Broken bench at foot of bed so that was strange. Ants everywhere so never cooked or ate much there….

We needed a long term stay rental and this was closer in town than the extended-stay hotels and well priced. Check-in went smoothly and they responded to my texts when I had questions. Plenty of room and there was a mini-fridge to make up for the leaky main fridge which we only used for freezing. Very quiet.

Place a bit run down with out a lot of natural light (functional but not charming). Not a great neighborhood for tourists but if you have several days and a car downtown is not far. Stairs to the second story apartment bit of a challenge with a lot of luggage.

We had an incredible stay at Urban Chic Apartments in Philadelphia! The apartment was well-equipped, clean, and super comfortable, especially the bed. It truly felt like a home away from home. The location was perfect for exploring the city and close to Fairmount Park, which was ideal since we came into Philly for the Roots Picnic Festival. Ubers were easy to get and usually arrived in under 10 minutes. We loved staying in an apartment rather than a traditional hotel, it gave us more space, privacy, and it was nice and quiet, which made it easy to relax after long days out. One minor downside: there was no microwave, and we couldn’t quite figure out the remote situation. But those were small things compared to how great everything else was. A fun bonus was the Water Ice place right across the street, they serve food, too, which was super convenient. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Philly who doesn’t mind taking an Uber to get around. Thank you for making our trip so memorable!

Overall it was comfortable to have a unit with kitchen and bathroom. The apartment was clean, the bed was comfortable. Enough kitchen utensils for my use (I did not use any pans or pots though). It's spacious and has enough closet space.

I faced some problems: 1. The window could not be fully shot because of the air conditioning device, and my suit was near the street and at night there was so much noise that woke me up multiple times during the night. 2. There was wifi username and password in the check-in description, but that wifi was never available (I tried many times). 3. The check-in time was 3 pm and I checked in at around 3:30 to face an uncleaned and unprepared apartment with dirty towels piled up there and dirty sheets on the bed. They informed me that they haven't yet cleaned my apartment, even though the check-in was before. It took them until 5:30 to finish up cleaning the apartment while I was sitting there. 4. There are many stairs there so it's a little uncomfortable for people with big luggage. 5. Too much Air freshener in the corridors

This was a last-minute rental, and the price was quite reasonable. The property wasn't entirely clean (sticky floors and a sprig from a plant on the couch), but it was quite roomy -- a kitchen, bathroom, living room, and small bedroom. That was a lot of space for very little money, and parking on the street outside was easy to find. Other than the loud outside street noise, the only complaint I had was that there wasn't much bedding, only a sheet and a fairly thin coverlet, no blankets. There was a lot of clear communication from the owner, which made the stay pretty straightforward. This wasn't the most central location in the city, but if you have a car, it was worth the low cost. Most properties in Philadelphia were far more expensive.

The property was clean and spacious. We liked the large TV and that it was very close to the MFL train station, so we could get around easily. There was water damage on the bedroom ceiling that was an eyesore. Also, it would have been nice to have a microwave in the kitchen. Overall, though, we did enjoy our stay at Urban Chic Apartments.

Property was in a convenient location. 10 - 15 mins to downtown by uber

The sofa in the living room can be cleaned or updated. No air conditioning in living room .

I had a wonderful stay at this apartment! It was clean, well-equipped, and located in a great area. Near buses and other stations. The host was very responsive and helpful throughout. I’d definitely recommend it and would stay again!
