Casa Del Mar Master

Family of 3 — stayed with our toddler. Located along a safe and quiet street, #5 (2BR, 2BA w/ king bed, bunk bed, sofa bed) was spacious and bright, clean and well-ventilated, with private access to a front patio with a nice little shade. Our little one enjoyed exploring the apartment more than the shore, so it was a win! Kitchen was fully equipped — having a dishwasher was awesome. Access to a shared washer and dryer in the backyard was a huge bonus as well, so you can travel light. It’s half a block to the boardwalk; stores, restaurants, and live events were all within walking distance… Use your favorite grocery or food delivery app to get goodies delivered straight to your unit. Vickie, the property manager, responded within a record-breaking 3-second response time. Easy check in and check out. Will book again!

I would definitely stay here again. The apartment was cute, cozy, and beachy! Vickie was quick to reply to messages or calls. There was a store nearby when we needed things, and while the beach was just 2 blocks away, it was not in the busy section so the beaches were not crowded where we were. There were chairs, towels, and a boogie board. We didn't have a car, but there was a free parking pass. I don't know where I cwuld've parked though since there were no open spaces.

This looks like a lot, but it really isn't. I had emailed ahead because we were coming from a cruise ship so we had nowhere to hold our luggage and asked if I could drop ours off at 10am and I was told "yes, absolutely no problem will be my pleasure." I messaged when we got off the ship that we were on our way. When I arrived a little early at 9:40 she asked why I was there. I reminded her of my message and she told me check out was at 10 so I could leave my luggage in the laundry room, but they couldn't be responsible for it. We sat outside till 11 when housekeeping let us in. We got the code for the key about 2:30. The living room tv didn't work so we had to call someone else and they had to call the cable company, so it was never resolved, but the bedroom tv worked fine. There were a few tiles that had popped up and I caught my toe on the one right outside the bedroom in the dark. We could hear the neighbors closing drawers, sneezing, and watching tv, so I'm sure they could hear us too.

fold down couch very uncomfortable as a second bed tv in living room never responded to the remote. since we had working tv in bedroom we used it and did not call owner for help.

Great location,nice cozy apartment, quite place, they do provide chairs and umbrella and this is a huge plus.

We like everything but just like a recommend: our apartment was front street and we were not able to open window shades as everyone will look at us) and we just use the light as it’s dark in the room otherwise, so would be better if there were some light curtains on windows. Another thing the bathroom ventilation fan hardly ever works, so soon the mold will be all over)

Location was excellent. Appreciated beach chairs, umbrella and having laundry available.

There was black mold in the bathroom around the shower mechanism.

Guests before us messed up their booking so we didn't have a room for a whole day. Not really the host fault but was still inconvenient and set us back a day. Management was very nice & tried to resolve the issue quickly. The tub didn't drain properly and a piece of the drain cover was left off. Microwave had a crack in it but didn't really use it so didn't bother us.
