Vintage Amelia Island Apartments

We really loved that it was in between the beach and the shopping area in Fernandina beach. WE LIVED THE POOL!! We were there literally everyday.

We came wanting to be able to cook our own meals but the pans were non stick so we ended up having to eat out. Also the silver wear and dishes were pretty dirty when we got there so we had to clean everything up ourselves. Also in the bed room the curtain doesn’t really trap in the light so we were waking up pretty early because of it.

The property is INCREDIBLY noisy from outside traffic. Areas around the property is sketchy. Area is big, and the amenities are nice. Just very, very, loud.

Ideal location near shopping and restaurants; 5 minutes from the beach; plenty amenities on site!!! Con: I wasn’t informed through hotels.com of the two-hundred dollar deposit. Tucker didnt inform, apartment was on the 3rd floor and no elevators

The place was really clean But but showers need new shower heads the was not very good water pressure in the showers Also the AC filter needs changed there was a half inch of dust on the filter looked like it hadn't been changed for a long time. We enjoyed it though it was very nice and priced right. But could use just a little love. Just changing the two shower heads would be great Also there was only one remote for two tvs

Like above it needs new shower heads and the AC filter changed. My one son was pretty stuffy don't know if that caused but sought it helped Only one remote for two tvs

The apartment was perfect! Nicely appointed and clean. Our bed was very comfortable, also. We took advantage of the pool area and the gym. It was conveniently located to restaurants, the beach, grocery stores and shopping!

The water in the bathroom and kitchen was VERY slow to drain. The tub would fill up with water while we showered. The sink was the same.

The apartment complex and the layout of the apartment was good. The pool was very nice.

I cannot even begin to say how unhappy I am with this booking. We booked through Booking.com because it said it allowed dogs. When I had already paid and it was not possible to cancel the company sent me a link with rental conditions which said it did not allowed a long list of certain dog breeds. Since my dog is mixed with one of those breeds I didn’t want to lie about it and I called the morning of our arrival (I only found out about this the night before) to make sure we could either check in or get a refund. They then said it would be a problem as long as my dog was kept on a leash. A few hours later they sent me a message saying that they could not accommodate us over the chat. No call. I didn’t see this until after we had arrived and checked in. So I then called again to make sure we could stay and wouldn’t be liable for breaking their rules. The person said they would call back and never did so we waited hours with our bags unpacked. I never heard back at all. Also there was no working wifi, no information about anything in the apartment and the information sent to us was insufficient. There was garbage standing on all floors in the apartment building outside the doors. This completely ruined the last days of our holiday that we decided to spend staying somewhere “nice”.

No breakfast offered. Decent location.

Sofa and bed were in poor condition. Carpet was dirty. Dishwasher didn’t work. Clothes dryer had several inches of water inside it! There was no dish towels or pot holders. Bathroom towels looked like cheap gym towels There was excessive street noise and light but no curtains on the windows, only cheap blinds:

Our stay at the Vintage Amelia Island Apartments was wonderful...a great location that in the middle of it all. We will go back.

The pool and clubhouse area were fantastic. We stayed at the pool for hours and were the only ones there. The apartments were only a few minutes drive from the main beach park. It was plenty big for our family and pet friendly!

The apartment we stayed in was facing the main road, so it was pretty loud. You could hardly hear each other talk when on the balcony. You could hear the traffic noise inside while in the primary bedroom and living room area. It's not too loud where you can't sleep, but if you're a light sleeper, something to keep in mind.
