The Workshop

This was our 4th stay ( I think) , The Workshop provides everything and is so stylish, 2 lovely comfortable double beds, 2 bathrooms with lovely hot showers and beautiful big white towels, a kitchen that I would just love to have st home and a huge comfortable living area. Location wise it couldn’t be better, 4 or 5 minutes easy walk into the town but far enough away that there’s no noise.

There was nothing to dislike. The property was very well equipped and, given its central location, was perfect for a short stay.

Liked everything

Beautiful decoration. Very stylish. Lots of fabulous touches such as the low lighting in the ensuite which came in with movement, cocktail glasses, huge comfy sofa, gorgeous colours and lights. Bed linen was luxurious. Very comfy bed and good pillows. Kitchen is very well stocked with crockery, glassware, cooking equipment and other items. Location is great. Near to lots of yorks attractions but in a quiet lane. Car park almost in your doorstep. Do not follow sat nav to the property....it takes you through very narrow streets. Use the address for the jorvik hotel and then park in the car park! Walk to the house.

Few niggles: tap in ensuite dripped, someone was moving bins around at 5am outside the bedroom, builders working on next door property from 8am. Quite difficult to find the property in the dark as a car was blocking the name plaque in the building and lane very dark. Only 1 key to property. Would be good to have 2 as there were 4 adults who went in different directions so would have been good to have a key per couple.

It was an excellent location. The apartment was tastefully furnished and of high quality. The beds were comfortable and there was everything you needed to make our stay enjoyable. Would definitely stay again.

A very luxurious and Impressive appartment. We loved this accommodation and would certainly, re-book in the future. Will definitely recommend to our friends.

Possibly, a grip rail in the bathroom may have been useful to steady oneself out of the bath
