The property was exceptionally clean and cosy. It was in a prime location with access to lovely views of the sea and Peasholm Park. Debbie left us milk, tea, coffee and biscuits which was a lovely touch. The underfloor heating was a very nice treat as well!

we like the location it wasnt far to walk to anything and had a parking permit given, host was very friendly and welcoming and even got us some treats as we had had to be moved from a bad apartment and handed keys over and warmed the apartment pre our arrival. TV was a good standard .

On arrival once in we realised how dirty the floors were and the level of cleaning overall not good, so so much dog hair everywhere the floors were covered even the dining chairs had to be wiped in every corner was grim , we our selfs had to clean up we went over all the floors with the dustpan and brush as no large brushes and i didnt want to put hoover on as the lady lived below who owned it , after a bad experiance coming from last cottage and then this i didnt feel confident to confront the lady about cleanliness shw was very nice and welcoming and having now no choice but to stay there i didnt want it making it awkward staying there if she got confrontational so we cleaned the floor where we would walk the mopped with our own flannels, we then looked at the beds which on first glance look fine but when cover pulled back there covere in hair pillow quilts and blankets, we refused to lay on them so had to cover the beds and pillows with our own towels and used a blanket so quilt did touch us, we didnt unpack lived out of our bags, the bathroom again dog hair and grim,theshower dirty ,pull the none slip mat up as didnt want to stand on it as was grim and what was underneath made me almost sick , slime dirt god knows when that mat ever was cleaned undeath, i cleaned best i could we braved one shower the next day then that was it we were mean to be there 6 nights and only managed 3, the last night also around 10ish and on going to bed loud music from below we had to put ear plugs in, the actual pillows and quilts feel old and used alot not nice the quilt in my sons room he said was so baggy felt awful didnt fit inside. we left on the wednesday but was ment to leave on the sat morning we could not we told we were leaving and just said family issues and could we have any money for the other nights back, she was nice and asked if all was ok but i couldnt face to face tell her that her cleaning standards were bad, dog friendly should still mean clean.

Couldn't believe how luxurious the apartment was. Everything you would want and more. Cafe a few doors down for breakfast, so didn't have to cook, but everything you would need should you want to

Only thing was step between main bedroom and bathroom. Not a problem as used 2nd bedroom. Other thing was we had to come home

The owner was fantastic. She had even put a pint of milk in the fridge.... The apartment is fabulous, modern and up to date, beautifully decorated, super clean.. both bedrooms were again absolutely beautiful. Our bed was super comfy, and our friends said the same about their bed, too. The shower was brilliant. Seriously, we could not fault it. Will definitely be booking here on all our visits to Scarborough in the future without doubt. The location to us is fantastic. It's within 5 minutes walk to the beach and Peasholm Park, which if you have never been is a must. We strolled 2 minutes walk this morning to see the Sunrise over the sea this morning.....spectacular. There is a mega cafe called the Bella Rose Cafe just down the road, literally 2 minutes walk, again a must.

There is not a single thing I disliked at all.
