Luxury Studio Cottage at Foot of Yorkshire Wolds

Professional helpful hosts. Cottage immaculate with all modern fixtures and fittings finished off to a high quality . very clean and tidy. Nice quiet Excellent service throughout from start to finish

Unreal little hideaway. Comfortably slept 4 of us. Beautiful summerhouse with amazing modern facilities. Fantastic communucation with the hosts too.

No toiletries

The cottage was beautifully appointed and had all of the amenities that one could hope for. The owner met us on arrival and checked with us as we were leaving and had conversed with us in advance to try and identify things like taxis. The provision of milk and chilled water in the fridge was very considerate.

The bed was not the most comfortable that we have ever slept on, the electronic gates needed some getting used to and I thought my 2-wheel drive car was in danger of getting stuck on the drive.

No shower gel or shampoo provided

Warm welcome, very trusting, high degree of privacy, peace and quiet, high quality decor, very high spec fixtures & fittings, well kitted out with expensive furniture, objet d'art, quirky display items on walls, lots of little things provided e.g. milk, tea, coffee, cold water, kitchen items, Netflix, Amazon, lots of information on appliances too. Beautiful kitchen. The owners have thought of everything and there is literally absolutely everything you need in terms of self-catering, right down to dishwasher tablets, cloths and washing up liquid, tin foil and clingfilm. Plenty of adjustable lighting throughout the studio, two TVs, bose sound system, plus a firelighting kit and logs provided. Kids loved the serving hatch and chalk boards, with the welcome message...they left their own leaving messages too! We'd stay again.

Temperature was comfortable at 20oC, but we couldn't get it really cosy, even with the open fire burning. To be fair, it was February and a fairly cold 3oC to 6oC outside whilst we stayed. We just couldn't get the temperature right up to our desired level, maybe because there is a lot of glass with the bifolds, plus the valuted ceiling. Maybe some cushions on the leather sofa may help or faux fur blankets. Based on experience of owning two, I think a log burner would be far more effective at heating the space and much more fuel efficient too. 10 AM checkout was a tad early and a little stressful with 3 kids to feed, get ready, packed and out, but we did it.

The owners were very welcoming and helpful and nothing was to much. Stunning property with loads of memories and character. The cottage was outstanding with everything you need and more. The feild was really good for the dogs who also enjoyed their stay.
