Lovely & Beautiful 2 Bed-Apartment in Borehamwood

Spacious, clean and very convenient to Elstree Studios

The bed in the smaller room was very uncomfortable and the duvet was not warm enough given the freezing weather outside. No bedside lamps in each bedroom and no hooks to hang cloths on in the bathroom.

Location was perfect. Easy walking distance to transport and shops. Warm and cosy. Hosts were helpful answering questions and leaving a few basics to get us started. Keys were in key box which was easy to access. Spacious.

There was noise from people coming down stairs from apartment above. It would have been helpful to have instructions for the oven and other appliances.

The location of the property was perfect for our needs, close to the station and the shops. The property was nice and clean with plenty of storage, especially in the main bedroom.

Whilst we had a great time, there are things that need improving: we had booked for 5 people, however, there were no sheets, pillows or towels for the 5th person; no mattress or pillow protectors; there were only 4 forks and 5 knives; only 4 chairs and settings to the dinner table; the bed in the second room had one leg which we had to screw back in; although it was a new cooker, we had trouble with the hob, grill and oven not working or taking too long to warm up and no oven gloves, with one tea towel. We were promised toiletries, but there was only about 1 centimetre of shower cream in the 500ml bottle. There were two bars of soap, both used, out of their packaging. Also, no dishwasher tablets were provided.
