Residhome Nice Aéroport

So this is walking distance from the airport but google maps placement is off and you have to find it in an office plex of buildings. Everything else was fine. Check in, room clean. But we got back late and all the room keys weren’t working and no one except a security could open our doors since no reception was around to give new keys. Dropped the stars because of that. Really soured the night to come back to that hassle. Everything else was good. 👍

The accommodation is advertised as an “aparthotel,” implying it operates under serviced apartment conditions. However, this was not clearly communicated at the time of booking. Breakfast was noted as “available upon request” for a fee of approximately €15, while housekeeping was listed simply as “upon request,” with no mention of an associated cost. Based on this information, we proceeded with the booking under the impression that housekeeping would be included upon request. Unfortunately, our first night was extremely uncomfortable. The air conditioning in our room was not functioning, and the only alternative offered was a portable fan, which was both inadequate and extremely noisy. To make matters worse, the in-room telephone was not working, requiring us to go downstairs in person to address the issue. We had man mosquitos, which made it difficult to sleep. We highly recommend bringing insect repellent. Additionally, if you are considering booking this hotel, we strongly advise a room with a balcony. The rooms are small, ventilation is poor, particularly in the bathrooms, the space quickly becomes stuffy and uncomfortable. On a positive note, the hotel is conveniently located near train and tram stations and is within walking distance of the airport. However, a significant drawback is the lack of nearby restaurants and supermarkets. The few that are in the vicinity have limited hours. Therefore, if you book here, we suggest bringing your own towels and grocery!

It was difficult to find the hotel

The hotel is conveniently close to the airport, which is a big plus. However, finding it was a hassle—the address is a bit confusing, and there’s no visible signage outside, making it difficult to locate, especially for first-time guests. Once inside, things were fine, but clearer directions and proper signage would really improve the overall experience.

Was given a handicap room by accident and when I requested to change the room to what was originally requested, staff said there were no rooms available and that there was zero reimbursements are compensation in any form.

A good stay overnight before flying out the next day.

There was a leak in the roof in our room when we arrived after getting off our flight and they were fully booked so unable to move us. Just a general lack of care from staff
