Beautiful modern hotel. I didn't give 5 stars because room service after 11pm is terrible (club sandwich was inedible) and you should be ok with a somewhat remote location (40 min walk from downtown)

We loved the hotel and the staff. The property is within easy walking or driving distance of the central areas of Bordeaux.

Very comfortable hotel. Swimming pool and spa area good. Received lovely upgrade, with very comfortable room. Excellent bar staff, cocktails and wine list. Sommelier very knowledgeable and helpful.

We stayed here recently and while the hotel has some lovely features, we wouldn't return. What We Liked: — Clean and comfortable rooms with a stylish design. — Nice wellness facilities: small gym, pool, sauna, and steam room. — Housekeeping staff helpful and welcoming. What Let Us Down: — Location: Not central. It's a 10-minute walk to the tram and then a ride to town. Bordeaux is known for its lovely rooftop decks and this means you miss out. Also, not many local restaurants or shops nearby. — The staff were often unapproachable. With only one on-site restaurant, we hoped for flexibility. On one occasion, we brought back pastries from a local bakery and sat down on the near empty outdoor terrace, planning to order drinks. Instead, we were abruptly asked to leave without being offered the chance to place an order. Considering this is the hotel’s only outdoor seating area, the lack of accommodation felt rigid and unwelcoming. — Service throughout our stay was minimal. Room service was unreliable, i.e., ice was never delivered despite multiple requests, one evening pool area lacked fresh towels and sauna was turned off 15-minutes prior to closing, towels weren’t replaced in our room one of the day, and dishes were simply rinsed under the sink and replaced with residue still on them— all of which made the experience feel inattentive and inconsistent. — Breakfast underwhelming: Tasted nice but lacked flair. Eggs and hot drinks must be ordered, and service and food temperature was hit-or-miss. — High incidental hold: Nearly $2000 feels excessive for a boutique hotel. Overall: This could be a charming boutique stay, but the pretentious atmosphere and lack of attention to detail didn’t meet the five-star promise. We expected warmth and thoughtful service—and left feeling underwhelmed.

We spent a few nights here to explore Bordeaux. The hotel is small and so very personable and friendly. We walked into city centre from here but soon learnt that trams were so efficient especially with a Bordeaux pass. Our room was very stylish and a bit different to usual hotels and hotel facilities were good. Central courtyard for drinks and meals plus a small but inviting pool. All the staff we dealt with were both professional and friendly and all interactions went well. We had a problem with our pre-booked taxi on leaving and they arranged a replacement very quickly. Would definitely stay here again when we come back as so much to do in Bordeaux

Great staff and location.

Loved the Mondrian hotel in Bordeaux, great hotel, super comfortable bed. A little distance from the central area but tram b gets you there in quick time or a beautiful walk along the Garonne river close to Cite Du Vin which is an excellent way to sample the wines of the region Only issue was there lack of communication to their winery inside Bordeaux great Japanese restaurant with excellent sushi

Beautiful property with Excellent customer service. Delicious breakfast. Wish my son and I could have stayed longer to enjoy dinner Morimoto! Next trip!! Will definitely stay here again!!

Best stay experience so far! Flexible check in hours! I was able to check in at 1:30pm! Great help! Spacious and beautifully designed room! Incredible spa experience! Highly recommended!

Very quiet and nice hotel, great pool area, spa and gym. Restaurant was great but appeared to have some new servers that lacked in ... service and knowing a how a meal progresses.
