Cove Dadeka

The place has so much potential but yet they still messed up so so much. The pool is nice but incredibly noisy and and the beds are very comfortable. The staff is nice but mostly hard to speak to and forgetful.

Where should I start? We checked in and the bathrooms and our „private kitchen“ was super dirty. There was black hair everywhere in the bathroom and poop still in the toilet. The doors are a disaster and dislocated 5 times a day 🙈 One day the bathroom flooded with sewer water that came out of all wholes and we had to sleep somewhere else for one night because the smell was unbearable. Kitchen: we booked this place because I am pregnant and feel hesitant eating out too much due to the risk of getting sick. We wanted to cook daily meals.. when we arrived there was not one pot, knife or anything at all in the kitchen.. not even plates. When we asked for it they explained us that the kitchen is actually not working -.- They brought us a portable gas stove with one cooker and a really old frying pan that burned everything after 2 seconds. So we ended up not using any of it. The electricity kept cutting out for hours. The staff was sitting in the dining area while we were eating and smoking next to us. The property is surrounded by THREE fully active construction sights 😫 there is incredible noise 8 hours a day. There was probably more I could complain about but I think that’s enough for now. It is a cheaply built, not well looked after place to make quick money. While we were there we saw so many people complaining, asking for refunds and leaving. That says it all. We only stayed because we were out most day for work and only slept there most days… we couldn’t be bothered to move to be honest. But if you are here for a holiday… this place will make you deeply unhappy.

A different experience of staying in Bali, to stay in a room made of wood and have an outdoorsy vibe, instead of staying in a hotel room building. I expect to meet quite a lot of bugs, but turns out i didn’t find any, whether it’s inside or outside the room — This is unexpectedly good! The facility is superb for a small cottage-like accommodation; it’s near somewhat a luxury hotel facility. Staffs are friendly and helpful. The location is quite remote from the street but not that far if you’d like to get some bit of Canggu’s crowd. I could definitely comeback if I come back to Canggu, Bali again.

I stayed in the higher floor room - I need to carry my heavy luggage up the stairs. a mini fridge in the room would be much nicer.

The pool was nice and they were good rooms, nice setup and spacious.

The power went out for an entire day so no aircon or TV (while we were sick), the water stopped working for nature day so no shower and the toilet wouldn't flush. The shower flooded every time we used it and eventually flooded our whole room. The staff also locked us out of our room which led us to have to sleep on the benches in the outdoor lobby and miss our flights home so we had to pay twice as much to book new flights.
