Nous avons adoré notre croisière : notre guide était incroyablement gentil et toute l'équipe était aux petits soins. Merci encore 🤗 Le bateau est très propre et très agréable, parfait pour une pause au calme, puisqu'il n'y a que peu de cabines. La nourriture est également délicieuse et les plats sont copieux, tout était parfait. Malgré le temps approximatif nous avons pu avoir des alternatives d'activités et avons pu profiter de la baie de Lan Ha ! Allez-y les yeux fermés.

Bateau avec peu de cabines: permet de rencontrer d’autres personnes et de personnaliser le séjour. Le guide et son équipe (Sun) est incroyable de gentillesse et de dynamisme, il contribue grandement à la réussite de cette croisière! Les activités sont sympa, par contre c’est assez timé, bcp de choses en peu de temps. Les repas sont bons

Le bateau mériterait plus d’entretien (vitres cassées, portes de sdb dégondées) Les chambres sont très basiques Attention également aux frais réclamés par Daichii: 8% de frais de TVA (pas indiqué sur booking) et 3% si paiement par carte.

Extremely worth it! The views are stunning, the boat is great, the crew is the best, the guide Sun is amazing, the activities are fun and the food was delicious! Go ahead and book it!

Helpful when booking buses, unhelpful when it came to the actual booking of the cruise.

Probably would have been a wonderful experience if we got to go on the boat that we booked.

The nature and the scenery are truly breathtaking and amazing. The beds were unexpectedly comfortable, the staff on board, especially Sun was truly lovely and we had a great time with him!

The organization was chaotic, the guides from the bus to the port were not bothered with helping us and spoke little to no English. Also, on the way back there was no AC on bus, the fan/ventilation was barely working, we boiled in our own sweat for 2 hours and they did not even care. On the boat, there was no Wi-Fi, which is the first listed amenity when you open to book the page. The thing that was absolutely horrible and should not be allowed is bringing small children on board! We were forced to spend 24+ hours with 2 SCREAMING small children, probably 4 and 2 years old. The screaming and crying was constant, the parents were unbothered, on the other hand the rest of us (10 guests) had constant headache. We were looking at some of the most picturesque places on the Earth and had children screaming for background ALL THE TIME. While it is not company's responsibility to take care of the children, bringing small children that cannot swim, poop by themselves and can barely walk should NOT BE ALLOWED ON BOARD! The dangers are constant and they greatly disturb the other passengers, who go on this cruise to relax and enjoy themselves, not to be bothered by the constant screaming. HORRIBLE, JUST HORRIBLE! The staff on deck was great, they deserve 10/10 for their work, however everything else that I mentioned, especially the screaming small children that ruined our cruise, our piece of mind and our ability to rest, enjoy and even sleep is the reason I am giving this the lowest rating possible.

I normally don't recommend package tours, but I fully recommend booking Daiichi for this experience! There are dozens of options that all look very similar (and many are a little cheaper); however, Daiichi is an outstanding operation and it's just the right size to enjoy the tour. With approximately 6 couples on board, it's intimate without being too small and the small-ish group size allows for a very efficient operation (boarding, activities, meals, etc.). Our lead guide (Sun) was amazing and ensured everyone was taken care of and knew exactly what to expect; he lead us in kayaking, cycling, summer roll food prep, squid fishing, tai-chi, etc. All meals (from the arrival lunch through the departure lunch) were excellent; plenty of food and they accommodate requests (vegetarian for one guest; no fish for me) and the onboard bar is well stocked. Our room had a full balcony (sliding glass doors for access, with a full window out the other side of the room so you could see both ways. Finally, after booking through Booking.com, we were able to arrange round-trip transportation (through the same tour company as the boat) from our hotel in Hanoi and back at a very reasonable price. Expect a pick-up by mini-bus between 0700 and 0800 with a transfer to a tour bus at their main office before heading to Cat Ba. Along the way you'll disembark the bus for a quick boat ride to the Cat Ba island and then another 30 minutes tour bus. The return is similar (with our arrival back at the main office around 1530); most important, they were great about communicating with us after booking (through WhatsApp) to include the day before and day of pick-up.

An amazing place to visit. The staff were so lovely and accommodating. The food was so much and good. Drinks prices on board are very reasonable The boat is very comfortable with lots of space to relax and enjoy the views. We thoroughly enjoyed our time on board

It would have been good to have a couple of kayaks or SUPs on board the boat for adhoc adventures, between organised activities or relaxing time. Would also recommend you ask guests if they are there for relaxing or activities and ask them if want to be woken for early starts etc.
