Casa Argenti

Un bellissimo luogo di accoglienza posto in un borgo incantato, dentro le mura dell’antico castello. Sembra di vivere in un altro tempo, dove tutto è a misura d’uomo, dove le persone quando ti incontrano ti sorridono e ti salutano. Elga e suo marito curano ogni dettaglio con cura e passione e questo si vede in ogni angolo della struttura. La cena è ottima e curata, con prodotti di nicchia. Che dire…. Consiglio a tutti casa Argenti anche per l’ottima posizione che permette la vista di tantissime bellezze del territorio umbro.

Il BnB è situato in un borghetto medievale molto bello ricco di viottoli ben tenuti. Il luogo è un toccasana per chi ama rilassarsi a contatto con una natura lussureggiante che circonda ogni cosa. La.posizione è ottima per raggiungere la cascata delle marmore e Piediluco. La stanza in cui siamo stati è dotata dei servizi fondamentali e curata nei minimi dettagli. Due viste su casteldilago e Monte Franco molto belle dalle finestre. La stanza e molto pulita ed Elga e sua marito sono fantastici e disponibili, pronti ad elargire ottimi consigli. Consigliatissima anche la locanda prevista per l'home restaurant. Una perla per una permanenza all' insegna del relax , prenotate almeno per una sera, se non più. Eccezionale.

Purtroppo essendo situato all' interno di un borgo medievale non è possibile avvicinarsi troppo in auto. Se non ci sono posti sotto le mura vi toccherà camminare un 300m in salita. Tutto sommato comunque fattibile.

Elga è stata sempre gentilissima e disponibile. La camera era curata nei dettagli (come tutto del resto), luminosa, spazioso anche il bagno e con una vista stupenda! Colazione di alta qualità e abbondante, servita al tavolo dove anche qui, nulla era lasciato al caso. Il contesto è magico, sembra di essere fermi in un’altra epoca!

Ovviamente bisogna essere consapevoli che essendo la struttura in una zona pedonale sopra al comune, bisogna salire a piedi per un pezzo. Si viene ripagati all’arrivo 😍

Properly properly incredible. The views from this hill top stop will slow you, I suggest, for days. The room was perfect in size and appointments, including AC. All the decor and visuals: carefully and exquisitely executed. Stay as long as you can. One thing: plan your arrival and car situation really carefully with Elga. It’s a medieval hilltop. Small price for a slice of heaven. Oh, also, Elga is a wonderful preparer of meals. Took care of my special requests for breakfast without a murmur.

The breakfast was very good (and so was dinner). The property is located within what was a medieval castle on top of a hill, with incredible panoramic 360 degrees views. Another plus: Arrone is very close to the Marmore Falls - a sight not to be missed (with lots of history).

The location is a mixed bag: it is complicated, and difficult, to reach the property: you cannot park within the castle - you have to leave your car down in Arrone and schlep your luggage up, up, up. The proprietor was very helpful, but still...

The room was charming and very clean. Host Elga was friendly and helpful. We ate an absolutely delicious meal at her restaurant with many locally sourced ingredients. It was one of our favorite meals of our trip. We came by foot on the Via di Fransesco and it was so comfortable to have dinner next door when we were exhausted.

I would have liked a little protein in the breakfast, like hard boiled eggs or prosciutto, as we were walking a long way that day. But the breakfast croissants were delicious, as was the cake.

Its charm and authentic taste. Everything was perfect.

Elga was very welcoming. The place had lots of character and was comfortable and well furnished. We had the set price evening meal and it was excellent, as was breakfast. Elga really knows what she’s doing! Great location inside the castle.
