Porto Residence Campanhã

La casa está muy bien, es súper amplia y tiene mucho espacio para todo. La terraza es genial y es segura para los niños, aunque el mobiliario de la terraza estaba destrozado. A grandes rasgos está bien, pero tiene bastantes defectos. Tiene garaje, genial porque aparcar en la puerta o en las calles cercanas es muy complicado. Tiene una segunda cocina con horno de leña/ barbacoa y cafetera tipo bar, nos encantó. Tiene wifi y decodificador con app's en la TV. Aire acondicionado en todas las habitaciones, enfria mucho y muy bien.

Lo peor de todo sin duda es el ruido, está justo en frente de un taller mecánico y puerta con puerta con una entrada y salida de camiones, desde las 6 de la mañana ya hay ruido en la calle, a las 7 y media se abre el portón y ya no para la entrada y salida de coches y personas gritando. La alarma del taller saltaba de madrugada con frecuencia. 2 noches tuvimos un grupo de personas de fiesta debajo de nuestras ventanas hasta las 3 de la mañana, el descanso es nulo. Aún así es gracioso porque te dan unas instrucciones en las que no puedes hacer ruido a partir de las 22h... Hay muchas cosas rotas y sucias. Casi todo el mobiliario de la terraza estaba roto, los electrodomésticos de la cocina como la tostadora y la lavadora no funcionaban, el microondas tiene borrados los botones y tienes que imaginar que pone y las sartenes tardaban mucho en calentar, creo que porque no estaban en buen estado y no pillaba la inducción. Nada más abrir la nevera se cayó la primera balda de la puerta porque también estaba rota. Los sofás, las almohadas y cojines estaban todas sucias, con manchas y restos de todo tipo, los armarios por dentro también. Hemos venido comidos de picaduras de bichos, era meterse a las sábanas y notar picores por todo el cuerpo, no sabemos si son chinches o pulgas. No encontramos nada para poder limpiar o barrer las migas, preguntamos al alojamiento pero no nos contestó, el último día justo antes de irnos al dejar una maleta descubrimos que todos los apaños de limpieza estaban dentro de un armario con un cartel "peligro cuadro eléctrico" 😅 Si vais, hay obras hasta septiembre, esa misma calle un poquito más abajo que es donde llegas a la estación de metro/bus es todo tierra, maquinaria de obra y polvo.

The appartment had a lay out well suited for a larger group.

The appartment was not ready for guests. E.g.: 3 electric kitchen utensils each cut the electricity when plugged in. The coffee machine was not working, 2 out of 4 plates on the stove did not work, 1 shower was stock on very hot water, many pieces og broken glass (from bigger to small and very small) were on the floor in the living room and on the terrace. The manager did not get back on e-mails, but did answer phone and came with a new toaster and coffee machine the day after arrival.

The accommodation was nice all in all. The online check-in is reliable and easy to use. The team was always reachable on whatsapp or by phone which made the communication easier. The apartment is huge and very comfortable for 10 pax. The cooking opportunities are perfect and the whole apartment was very clean and well-organized. We had bad weather conditions but the open terrace is a huge plus, very enjoyable. There is also a kitchenette in the back. Because of the bad weather, the owner let us stay even after the late check-out (15 euros to check-out at 1pm instead of 11 am), and we could stay there until 2 pm. It's easy to use public transportation because of the good location.

The whole apartment was great, but in the cold weather it's tricky. We were there in January, and almost every room had an AC that we could use for heating. However, the corridors and the kitchen was very cold and the heating system was not reliable - the AC and the hot water was not consistent, they only worked for 1-2 hours. One night we had a random power outage, no heating, no warm water, no electricity for 1,5 hours. However, the owner sent a technician and they repaired the system. I think it's better to stay here in the warmer months. Other than that, we had no problems.

The apartment was perfect. The staff was very helpful and courteous. They came to the apartment several times according to our various requests. The place has 2 kitchens and both are fully equipped. The balcony is huge and very inviting. In light of the previous reviews of the apartment, I had quite a few concerns that were completely disproved. The place is very spacious, clean, well located and great for families/large group.
