The hotel is period but all feels (and smells) brand new. Breakfast was a varied mix of fresh fruit, pastries and bacon & eggs laid out in an attractive way, eaten in a lovely sun room. The room, while not the largest, was beautifully and tastfully laid out with a nice bathroom. Staff were very attentive. The location is perfect for Alfama.

The location was good. The room and common areas were clean. Staff was professional.

The rooms are VERY cramped, beds small, nowhere to even unpack a bag. Generally overrated. I’ve stayed at much better in Lisboa for less.
