Upon Angles is an amazing hotel. The rooms are decorated very artistic, bright and comfortable. The receptionists were always helpful, and the outdoor jacuzzi/pool was epic, such a nice way to spend the afternoon after lots of travelling and relaxing before heading out for the evening.

Air con in the room was a bit weak tea. We did ask if they could reduce the temperature, and we appreciate we went during a heatwave, but it was like hot dog breath.

Location is very good, very close to metro with loads of amazing Asian restaurants and food shops nearby. Quirky rooms. Really comfy bed and fairly quiet. Films projected in the courtyard at night. Friendly staff.

Quite small dining area/ bar. Street a bit scruffy and lots of guys hanging around outside, fine for me but as a single woman I would feel uncomfortable. I would say it was more like a 3 star hotel.
